Great Headphones for the price. Good sound quality after customizing EQ
This is my first pair of noise canceling headphones. I really like these so far. Used them at work all day and barely used 20% of the battery. The sound quality is great. Haven't used them for calls yet so I can't say on the mic quality. They are pretty comfortable, but I do wish the ear cups were slightly larger. The quality is good and the controls on the headphones work great. It also has a companion app to download to customize the EQ and voice assist functions. Overall I would def recommend these as a great entry level noise canceling headphone. For the price they are a great buy for under 100 dollars. I will definitely recommend them to all my friends and family looking for a good pair of headphones on a budget.

Excellent quality, great price
As an Apple user, I wanted great over the ear headphones with noise cancellation, but there was Absolutely No Way I was going to drop the fat stacks on the Apple ones. I started looking around and considering my options, originally deciding on some SRhythm off-brand ones here on Amazon. When I came back with the money to buy, the SRhythms were sold out so it was back to browsing. At this point, I decided it would be a better idea to go with a trusted brand that didn’t have the possibility of disappearing from Amazon within the next few years. The ideal headphone, for me, was the Sony XM5s - after reading reviews it sounded absolutely godly. But it also costs godly amounts of dollars, which was the original problem I was trying to avoid. Enter JBL, I realized the speaker brand that went from “a few of your buddies ride or die by this brand” to a sound-junkie staple was IDEAL. I shopped around, looked at similar Skullcandy models, other brands similar in price but also not offering anything better than passive noise cancellation. The comparable Skullcandy model (price wise, at least) has worse battery life, primarily because it uses (imo) a ridiculous number of microphones for Active Noise Cancellation. At the time of my purchase, the Skullcandy model also costed slightly more which made even less sense. I find the noise cancellation on these to be easily comparable to the AirPod Pros I have used before. Especially with music playing, I cannot hear a single thing outside of my little bubble. I’ve used these at work for two days straight without ever having to plug them in. They connect to my phone with ease and the buttons on the side are very useful. The audio quality is crystal clear, and I often use these in the car instead of my stereo. These things perform beautifully. The JBL app is also a stroke of genius, allowing me all the customizability that Apple tries to prevent me from having with any non-Apple products. The different equalizer modes are absolutely killer too. I only have two small gripes. For some reason, the lowest noise cancellation setting jacks up the outside microphone’s volume but completely mutes my music without pausing it. So I can hear if someone is talking to me, but there’s not even a hint of the song I was listening to. This is a little disappointing compared to the AirPods transparency mode. The second one is that the ear cans on this thing are slightly too small for my ears, and I’m pretty sure I have relatively typical ear-size (elementary school kids would have made sure I knew if I had some Dumbo-sized ears yanno!). Wearing the headphones for hours at a time makes the cartilage on the side and top of my ear sore, and if they had like a millimeter or two more diameter that could be fixed. All in all, I consider these to be five star worthy because it’s an excellent value for the price. I absolutely love these things, and I hope they will last me a good while. I will be back to update my review on their durability after having owned them for longer.

Good comfort, sound quality and features for a good price.
So far so good. I received the head phones in a timely manner. The box was smaller than I anticipated but housed the headset, the charging cable, a 1/8'" cable and the instructions. I turned on the Bluetooth on my computer, powered up the headset, hit the sync button and it connected automatically. The buttons are raised and easy to use. The volume buttons are pronounced and easy to operate. The headset did start to feel heavy after about an hour of use and the range of the Bluetooth is limited to about 15 foot. I may have had some interference with the microwave. The sound is very good with pronounced lows and clear highs. I didn't have to adjust the volume too much from noise discomfort. They did a good job at drowning out background noise. I would recommend them for the price.

ADHD Approved ✔️
First I’d like to say that I love JBL products, I think the sound quality is amazing. I use the Ambient Aware mode often, especially when I’m cutting veggies and need to drown out background noises like the TV being on. As someone with ADHD, they have really helped me not to get overstimulated. It’s easier to focus on my tasks this way. I have given it 4/5 stars because of the fit. When I buy an over the ear product I expect the product to go fully around or over my ears. This is a personal preference, i still think they are very soft and comfortable. Just can’t use it for prolonged periods of time without feeling pain from my ears being pressed on. The value for the money I spent is good. I like how easy the control buttons are to use. All in all a great quality headphone set.

Just what I was looking for
I waited 3 months to post this to give myself time to really test these out. I have been extremely happy with the 770NCs. I have a pair of the JBL 660NCs at work, which I love. When my more expensive pair of Beats Studio Pros started cracking on the band, I decided to give the 770NCs a try. So, in many ways, these are in comparison to the Beats. Sound-wise, these pack a lot of punch. The bass hits harder without feeling distorted, the soundstage is warm and detailed, and I really feel surrounded by the music. I don't use the sound cancelling feature much, but it seems to work well. The Ambient Noise feature works well, although the Beats do a slightly better job. Bluetooth pairing is easy, and switching between my computer and phone is simple. I haven't had any connectivity issues. The battery life is astonishing! Seriously, the battery life is so good that I have to remind myself to check the percentage, and the same goes for the 660NCs. It feels like the battery is good for days upon days without needing a recharge. My Beats, on the other hand, needed constant recharging. Build and comfort are good. I'm by no means hard on my headphones, but after my Beats started falling apart I knew I wanted something that I don't need to baby. They feel well constructed, and they are light and comfortable. I can wear these for extended periods of time without feeling fatigue or sore spots anywhere. For the price, these are an excellent choice. Highly recommend.

Best headphones I’ve owned, better than Beats
I got these headphones to replace my Beats Studio 3 headphones which only lasted 3 years before cracking despite being very careful with them. So I will be comparing these Jbl to them. So as for the fit, the Jbl ones feel more secure yet the Beats were slightly more comfortable but not by much. As for sound the Jbls have way better of sound both for music and asmr as I use my headphones for both. The noise canceling is way better on the Jbl headphones. As for battery life they both are good and not much of a difference there. I use my headphones a few hours a day usually and only need to charge them every few weeks even with noise canceling on. So in short the Jbl headphones are actually better than Beats despite Beats being more expensive. My advice is if you want quality headphones that work great get the Jbl headphones, if you want just a Flashy name brand then the Beats are better but that’s all they are. I’ll be going with Jbl for all my Bluetooth audio needs from now on. Jbl is the best combo of quality, good sound, and affordable price.

I Hear The Stereo
I can hear the music the stereo as the music is playing through my cellphone. I can hold a conversation on the phone without disruption or loss of volume. However I do have to keep the cellphone in close proximity. That microphone plays into your voice being received from the other person you’re talking with. I wear these headphones while driving, it’s not what I envisioned doing but it works for me as I described the noise cancellation still gives me a volume to the outside world while driving. Cellphone settings prevent over powering the volume to the headphones and your ears. Recharge is easy, the only negative situation I have is wearing my glasses. Night vision glasses are comfortable no problem. Sunglasses with a different type frame become uncomfortable and I have to take the headphones off when it becomes painful. Can’t get that adjustment wearing them nor have I researched for another pair of sunglasses. I definitely would buy these headphones again.

Year 2 Review
Purchased two pairs of these and I've them for about 2 years using them daily on a PC and here is my review of the features, problems, etc. General Observations - The volume seems fine and is adjustable on-ear with finding it with your finger - The ambient aware mode works really well. Noise cancelling seems good also but I don't use it much. - I have a smaller head and the band fits well. They expand fairly far for bigger heads also. - The cans tilt to fit your head also and aren't fixed in place - The fit is comfortable and completely over your ears. They are very comfortable and are good for long hours (they were daily use for me for 2 years). The pads are pretty soft and not bulky (just the right size all around). - I'm not an audiophile and think the sound quality is really good for $100 headset. - They fold up nicely - I bought them for around $100 and I think the value for the money is pretty good. - They are plastic but durability is good. I've worn them daily for 2-years and they still look new. The ear pads haven't rubbed off at all and I don't see any discoloration. Wireless Connection: - Connects instantly to your PC every single time, so it seems reliable in terms of connecting. - Switch between modes quickly with a dedicated button - Battery life is really good even after 2-years. It will tell you when you need to charge. Standard charging cable applies. Wired Connection: - Comes with a smaller 2.5mm connector that adapts into a 3.5mm jack. This is fine but just a note if you want to use a longer wire than what comes with the headset. Mic: - I never used this feature so can't comment on it. Problems: - The bluetooth connection has recently been giving me lots of "stuttering" issues when using it wirelessly. This makes them unusable wireless. When I'm wired, it works 100% fine, so I know it's an issue with the headset. Maybe after two years it's reaching it's end of life which is really disappointing. - The main problem with using it wired is the extra features (ambient aware and noise cancelling) do not work. These features only work while powered and wireless, so keep that in mind if you are buying for that purpose. Summary: - I think overall they are a really great headset IF you don't have bluetooth stuttering issues and can use them wireless. The reason I gave them 3-stars is that I cannot use them wireless anymore and I'm forced to wired. Not being able to use them wireless means most of the usability features are lost. I will probably continue to wear them wired for awhile until I decide to replace them, but I'm a little disappointed they lasted less than 2-years. If I didn't have stuttering issues, they would be 5-stars.
