Works as required
Does exactly what I wanted it to do. Purchased to stop my seat post slipping down along rides, after trying to change clamps etc used this and seat post doesn’t move

Great stuff, really grips!
Great stuff! Really grips and not much needed. Aluminium seat post to steel frame.

Very grippy gloop
Grippy paste used on seat tube, bar stem etc. of carbon framed bike. Avoids any need to over tighten the seat clamp with the associated risk of damaging the frame. You'll want to use this in conjunction with a torque wrench which, in any case, should be used when assembling lightweight bike components.

Very grippy
I’ve had an ongoing problem with an aluminium seat post slipping in an aluminium frame. I’ve tried a couple of other carbon assembly pastes but they were too slippery. Together with a new clamp, this has fixed the problem. Very pleased.

Absolutely amazing assembly gripping agent.
Even fully torqued up to spec (and a little beyond), I had quite a bit of 'twist' from my saddle stem on my carbon framed bike... so I thought I'd try this. And holy crap, what a difference. Not much more to say other than it did the job like a boss. Word of advice though... don't use loads. There's really no need. This stuff would grip glass on ice. A little around the clamping area totally nails it. Any more than this and you'll be using arms, legs, feet and a whole other person to help should you ever need to separate stem from frame (been there... just sayin'... don't ask).

Didn’t work for my carbon seat post in titanium frame
Have used this carbon paste for many years but the last tube I got did not hold my seat post at all. Within 5 miles the seat post would slip down. Went to bike shop where they applied a competitors (cheaper but more gritty) paste and I’ve had no slippage since. Not sure if I just got a dud batch but it caused a couple of bike rides to be ruined.

It works!
A great product. It saved me buying an alternative seat post clamp (as my alloy post was slipping down even on short rides). It most likely also prevented damage to my alloy frame by over tightening clamp. For personal use you will not need that much, but what it can save or prevent will far outweigh the cost or what you don’t use. Recommended.
