Great little replacement remote, works well. Also, the nice thing about the replacement remotes is if you have any other of the same type of TV, there’s no cross issues. Arrived on time and as described. Great value for the money.

Works great and the pairing was quick and simple

This remote unfortunately does NOT duplicate all the functions of t he original. On the original, many buttons will turn the device on; on this replacement remote, only the on/off button will turn the TV on. It means you hit something that works on the original and it WON'T activate the TV (for instance, the select button, or the 'home' button). It's not the end of the world; it just means if you're operating by touch, you aren't getting the responses you expect to get. I also don't care for the texture of the plastic; it feels flimsy and unsure to my mind; your hand doesn' t grip the plastic well so it slips and doesn't duplicate the original very well. On the up side, the price is very low, which is a positive difference. It does the job, but feels uncertain.

We’ve been using a couple of these for about two years now, and have had no trouble at all. Very responsive, easy button layout, special buttons for Prime Video, Disney, Netflix and Prime Music. I just wish I knew how to custom program those buttons, because I have no use for Disney or Prime Music.

I buy these remotes often! Not because they break easily or they don't work but because I have a 6 year old "product remote tester" who carries, throws, drops, squeezes it in between cushions, and pushes every button like he's answering a question on Jeopardy. Any remote would have to be durable and sturdy to withstand his daily adventures. This remote is similar if not better than the original remote that came with your tv. It's very easy to sync (just hold down the home button). It is compatible with most Fire TVs, so you could control multiple TVs. It's reasonably priced and good to have as a backup if you have a "product tester", forgetful parents who misplace or lose their remotes often, or if it's just time for a replacement.

I purchased it so my wife and I could each have a remote, rather than constantly having to get up and hand the remote to the other person. It quickly matched up to my new Insignia Fire TV. It was only 5-6 days later that I discovered it will do everything EXCEPT allow me to increase the volume. It will turn down the volume but not turn it back up.
