Lots of fun and engaging
All the kids in the family loved this toy. I will say, they can be difficult to remove from the surface because they are meant to securely cling to the surface. They won't damage the surface but you have to use the helpful tool they include to help the suction release and smaller children will likely need your help to move them. That being said, setting them up and then playing with them are lots of fun and they kept the kiddos engaged for a long time!

um great....but READ the AGE RECOMMENDATION... wish Amazon would put it in the item name
edit: the 8 year olds I worked with ADORED this and the 5 year olds.... some were able to figure it out and found it really interesting!!! Others kind of struggled with how it worked and gave up and lost interest relatively quickly. And found another play choice in our space. I didn't have a ton of time to walk them through it and I didn't have that many track/etc/materials for each child but. But plenty loved this! The good: I have merely tried sticking 2 connectors, a track, and a catcher to my glass sliding door to my patio and it worked great! I was thrilled. It was kinda fun as a 31 year old assistant teacher and leader of an after school care program! The bad/surprising: I was absolutely NOT read for how FAST this marble run can potentially go if you curve the bendable tracks. It can go really, really fast. Maybe that's a benefit to some. Not really here. I work with ages 5 to 8, but MOSTLY at the 5ish age range... some kids can be really sensitive to stimulus and overwhelmed so the QUITE FAST and NOISY, as well, nature of this marble run was something I was not expecting and am not particularly pleased with. Also, something about the nature of this toy is pretty hard, honestly. Predicting where the potentially fast marble is going to go next and using your imagination and guessing to figure out where the next track goes is hard. Even for a grown adult. I'm going to try to put this out for some 5 year olds and the brighter and more mature of them but I have a feeling it won't go so good. I see a return of this product in my future. A shame I'll probably end up having to return it because as soon as I saw this thing I thought "Wow!" Because I'm always looking for toys with suction cups for glass doors. I was a pre-k teacher for ages. Kids love that type of toy beyond words and it also makes what was previously a ONE USE and almost useless part of a room (just a glassdoor for only exiting) in to a play space which is useful. Ugh. Hope this works out. Maybe I"ll update it. I could see a 12 year old losing his mind over this. But yeah. Probably not for young ones. Oh, and because it's so fast you could maybe lose marbles and even do so quickly, unfortunately. Ugh.

Overall great but lacking
Nice design and entertaining interactivity but it could stick to surfaces better which is kind of important.

Watch the nano-adhesive pads.
The parts are good quality, but the re-usable stickers are not. I think they may have been exposed to a high humidity environment because the sticker sheets were difficult to manipulate and the cardstock came apart. They don’t hold the weight. Its not recommended for drywall and painted surfaces. I don’t know how to rectify this. I think it might work better as a tabletop game with some sort of A-frame easel and board to attach the marble run. There are no magnets for metal surfaces. That might work well, too (i.e. side of refrigerator as shown).

My grands absolutely loved this item. Lots of fun.

Not sticky
My kid was disappointed. The little sticky patches don't stick for long. And they really only stick to glass. Even then, they wore off quickly. And every time he tried to build a new 'run' they would fall off the glass. Didn't work at all on the bathtub /shower wall.

Perfect for my creative 9 year old
My 9 year old loves this set! He now wants every expansion pack there is to be found. It doesn't work well on walls as stated in the instructions. We have it on the window and it stays well and creates hours of fun!

9 yr old & mom love it!
Only tried it on our window so far, but love it. Some review caution about the stick, but not a problem for us yet. I’m guessing it works better on some surfaces than others. We’ve repositioned again & again on window & no problems at all with the stick. When you open the box, it’s best to have an adult attach the nano-suction pads. After about 10 minute prep, you’re ready to go! We got this toy on sale and I’m thrilled with it. It was perfect to get my 9 yr old off electronics & into creative play on a boring snow day home from school. He refused to read instructions, but figured out most of the pieces/assembly on his own. We’ll have to explore the few levers/mystery pieces this weekend!

Such a clever idea but it just does not work. The kids love the idea of it and keep trying to play with it but they just get frustrated as it does not stick properly. We have tried it on glass, fridge, gloss surfaces etc and the pieces just fall off after 30 seconds or so , which is very annoying when you are trying to build a run of any length. I thought at the price that it would have been better tested.

I bought this for my kids to paly with on rainy days! I'm so shocked that it sticks to everything ! You could literally take this on the train and keep your little ones entertained on the longest of journeys ! It even sticks to textured wallpaper, which only proves the quality, had this product for a while now and it's very robust. I have 5 children and apart from losing the odd piece what we do have is still in excellent working condition ! Very well made, and a fantastic product ! Thank you :)

Super fun - a toy that my 11 old son comes back to it all the time, he tinkers with the run set ups to optimize it!

My son is obsessed with marble runs but they normally take up a lot of room. This is great though as it fastens to a window (or wall). The parts are robust enough for shall we say not the most delicate of handling and has allowed him to create many courses that can stay in situ without cluttering the room. He found it easy to put together, and was a good present at the right price point.
