Not purple
I must admit i chose these headphones because they were advertised as purple but in reality they are hot pink with purple underneath. The sound quality is alright but i find if i move the jack at all i get a lot of crackling. I don't think this type of jack is suitable for ipods as it spins a lot which may be causing the crackling. Unfortunately i wouldn't recommend them. Style over substance i think.
