Cuts through porcelain very cleanly
This 6.5mm drill is the same diameter as the Starrett pilot carbide drill size in its small A1 arbour. This allows use of larger Starrett drills once the pilot hole is drilled. For clarity, this diamond drill does not fit the arbour but you can attach larger diamond drills to the arbor with a 1/2" thread, using the standard pilot carbide drill as the guide. Managed two holes in the back of a washbasin and seems like a lot of life left. I used copious amounts of water and hand drill set to highest speed to achieve this. Water is most definitely needed. Sadly, it's made in China these days and no longer in Scotland.

One use only
Drill bought to cut into porcelain tiles. Unfortunately it only managed one hole before it went blunt. The drill is cheaper than similar ones for twice the price but is not cost effective.

Rubbish
Absolutely rubbish. Drilled one hole then it was blunt. This junk should not be for sale.

Great drill bit at great price
These drill bits are one of the best Iv come accross. Half the price than other diamond drill bits. They last longer and drill faster. Keep them wet and cool while drilling for them to last the longest. Drills Porcelain. Goes through ceramic like its nothing.
