Forearm and Wrist Support Splint Brace Forearm Immobilizer Brace (Left hand)

First, with the positives: This brace does support your wrist in a natural curve and prevents front back flexion/extension. it is sturdy, well, made and is not going to come apart with heavy use. It adjusts easily. It does not immobilize the wrist for ulnar deviation (waving your hand side to side like an exaggerated 'goodbye wave'). It only immobilizes front back flexion and extension, not side to side. It is, however, the only brace I found that goes high enough on the outer side of your hand so that it could keep in place a metal splint on the outer side of my wrist to prevent ulnar deviation (for flare ups and tendonitis). I have found good relative rest relief by wearing the metal splint wrapped first with a bandage then this forearm wrist brace on top of it while typing and using an "ergonomically correct" mouse. It is not a cure, but it gives some relative rest. To note, if you are looking for the brace to support your wrist for carpal tunnel and want to use it for typing, it isn't that easy to type with because it does come up high on your hand - I purchased the XL size so it would fit over the ulnar deviation splint so that may be why I'm having difficulty typing with it. But, thank goodness for Windows Speech Recognition and Dragon Naturally!

It feels well made. As other stated, the thumb piece that goes under the thumb digs into your skin. What I did was wrap it over the thumb which also stabilizes the thumb better, and it's waaay more comfortable.

I have a double broken and chipped wrist. Splints hurt my forearm as they pinch and do not offer forearm support or adjustments. Also the lift for the wrist is too much. This does rub, but nothing like the others. I put a thin cloth on my palm and am comfortable. Biggest sell is how long the adjustment straps are! No matter how swollen it gets, I have plenty of adjustment room. There is no built in socks so plenty of room. Great forearm support. The velcro straps do tend to grab a hold of everything. I put a knee sock over it at night to stop that. When out, I wrap a reusable ace bandage with velcro closures around it. Love this thing!!!!!

The wrist brace helps with the pain however, it is not long enough for my wrist injury. Also, the brace had To be repaired already. I had to sew the metal slit to keep that support in place. This is definitely not something that can be used for any length of time.

It fits well except the rough side if Velcro is on the top edge which scratches my forearm in one spot. Perfectly fine in all other areas on brace. I tried to add pictures on 2 different devices but the Add Photo does not allow me to add pictures.

Is comfortable, longer and good material.

Works good and it was a perfect fit

Having a wrist fracture makes normal function difficult this brace supports the hand and arm well. My wife has some use of her dominant arm wait for the fracture to heal. With therapist approval she can occasionally slide the brace off for limited ROM activity. The brace easily comes off once the support straps are loosened.

I fractured my left wrist, a month ago. The cast is off, and I use this brace, over the bandage.
