Good filter mount
Great filter holder. Firmly seats in the s50. Clean threads hold filters with no problem.

One Time use only adapter
This adapter is made of plastic and is not designed for use more than one time. The treads that hold the camera lenses to the adapter are not sturdy enough to use to hold repeated attachment and reattached of lenses.

S50 can or cannot use filters?
Bought 2 of these based on the information here for my S50. They fit ok and filters do attach but it’s not as easy as you would think. I also purchased 2 filters - Moon ND filter and a UHC filter. If I put the filter on the S50 and then try to go to my target it fails to find the target - even a full moon. Take the filters off no problem. I contacted ZWO who makes the S50 and they said it wasn’t designed for filters except the solar filter included - which by all appearances is in one of these adapters to use it. So I’m left very confused here - can the S50 actually with these using filters or not? Any insight greatly appreciated I was able to return the filters but have hung on to the adapters in the event I can actually use them.

It’s a bit hard to push it in but it does go in and holds well. My 2” filter threaded in perfectly as well.
