The Matrix Revolutions [DVD] [2003]

Matrix RevolutionsThe third movie is more straightforward and action-based. The effects are dominating but it says less than each of the other previous two movies. It's satisfying but a bit too long. The answer is the solution to stop the destruction of Zion and to recall it's the 6th version so it's a cycle when these will reoccur in some future times. The issue is with Neo. He is stuck in the railway station between the machine world and the hacker's world. It's controlled by the Trainman. He has total authority here. Neo needs help here to access the Keyman. The physical battle with the machines and Zion takes a long time with very complex C.G. special effects. This is followed by a personal battle between the former agent Smith, and Neo, which dominates the later story. There is a tendency to have these characters reinforce these fighting actions through huge reactions to their environment. They, for example when they crash together. A huge force wave is generated to show and support this. The story takes a turn for the unexpected when a deal is offered by Neo and the A.I. sentient beings.

The final movie in The Matrix series picks up straight from the end of Matrix Reloaded. There are two main special effect scenes in this movie. The first is where the machines invade Zion and the humans battle them in the Aliens style walkers. The second is the battle between Nea and Smith which is drawn out for about 5 minutes longer then it should have been. The rest of the movie is about wrapping things up and for the most part it does it pretty well.Revolutions is much better the Reloaded. The effects are better the story is better mainly because the writers new what was left to do. The main complaint with Revolutions is there is not a great deal of time spent in the actual Matrix. Most of the action is in Zion most of the conversations happen on board various vessels. It is as if they save the Matrix for the last battle and it must be protected before then. One more annoying thing in this movie is Trinity's death at the cinema it annoyed me on blu ray it was worse because it takes her so long to die. It would be like Yoda spilling everything he ever said before he died in Return Of The Jedi. The whole Smith being in the real world wears thin quickly but he is dismissed by a blined Neo who now has the same powers in the real world as he does in The Matrix don't know where that comes from but it seems to work.In closing this is a pretty good movie. It does what the final part of any trilogy should do tie up loose ends and go out on a high. Could it have been better ? Yes but not by much. I still think that Reloaded and Revolutions should have been one 3hour movie. But this does well for itself. It ends most story arcs and leaves it open for more in the future.

Amazing film, had to watch twice

The final act in the Matrix films. Unforently it does not live up to the same standards as the first two. The film gets bogged down in a plot that I don't believe wasn't very good. The fight sequences fought by Neo and the agents Smiths look like they were made on a computer and that detracts from the film's quality. I also think that some of the philosophy preached in the film was more confusing than enlightening.

I think this was naturally a good film better than the dissapoinment I found in the Stars Revenge of the Sith, this film is underrated because people don't understand, you don't understand then watch the film again, its confusing to make you unconfuse it, I think we should be blessed that they have the technology and power to create something so powerful is it the fact that we're so brainwashed with principles such as I'm right and he's wrong philosophy, blind to the fact that Neo and Smith had to go, are we just a little too cynical on what a good film is, I enjoyed it, every fits neatly though many argue the first was the best I believe that the first lacked the depth it could have had to turn these three episodes into one film which it could have been, but again time and money, and people are literally what they are greedy consumers its like the Agent Smith said you consume until there is nothing left,this is state is a great example of racism and the Roman Empire which fell due to greed, so again its definitely not the plot or special effects or even the characters its the sublime message behind the film which people make petty reference for and toa brilliant film for the those with an open mind and have a genuine understanding of Chaos and Creativity

Simplemente impresionante, una obra maestra lo que hicieron en 4k y el sonido Dolby Atmos es Exquisito, obviamente deben disfrutarlo en un buen hometeather 7.2.2 o 11.2.4 con unas 4 bocinas atmos en el techo.

Entre los idiomas esta el castellano. Son tres discos bluray: el bluray 4k, el bluray 1080 y otro bluray con contenido original. El 4k muy buena imagen y sonido. Por el precio de version italiana es una compra muy recomendada

Come fare a meno di questa trilogia? Come è possibile amare la fantascienza lasciandosi sfuggire Matrix? Per me è inconcepibile! E' a dir poco uno scempio non aver a casa Matrix in versione Blu ray!!! L'esperinza che ho vissuto a cinema quando uscirono i tre film la rivivo oggi con questi Blu ray. Non so descrivere la gioia che provo nell'aver nelle mani questi Blu ray... ogni spiegazione potrebbe essere fin troppo complessa per chi non ha visto a cinema la trilogia... Però io mi sono fatto una idea di questa trilogia ed ecco cosa ne ho tirato fuori. Ovviamente è una mia personale interpretazione. Nel 1999 ci furono grandi festeggiamenti per la nascita di I.A. (macchine dotate di intelligenza artificiale) che come prima cosa videro il genere umano come una minaccia, gli umani allora oscurarono il cielo per per impedire alle macchine di vivere visto che si alimentavano ad energia solare. Le macchine allora cercarono un'altra fonte di sostentamento: gli esseri umani! Ogni essere umano sprigiona oltre 6 milioni di calorie e bioelettricità e le macchine avevano iniziato a "coltivare" gli esseri umani al fine di procacciarsi l'energia di cui avevano bisogno ma purtroppo per le macchine l'essere umano sveglio e vigile si ribellava e cercava di sfuggire alle macchine, allora le macchine sopirono le menti degli esseri umani imprigionandole in un mondo virtuale elaborato al computer, ossia Matrix. L'essere umano collegato a Matrix non si accorge della differenza tra sonno e realtà e accetta quello che gli viene proposto dalle macchine come realtà. Le prime versioni di Matrix erano state concepite come mondi dove non esisteva il dolore, la rabbia, l'odio o l'amore e quindi molti connessi a Matrix rifiutarono quella realtà e molti raccolti di esseri umani andarono persi. A questo punto all'Architetto (un programma) viene chiesto dalle macchine di creare un mondo virtuale imperfetto in cui l'uomo poteva riconoscersi. I pochi superstiti nati e cresciuti fuori da Matrix si rifugiarono a Zion, l'unica vera città ancora libera ma ubicata nel sottosuolo dove le macchine si credeva non sarebbero mai arrivate. Una profezia annunciò l'arrivo di un Eletto (Neo), una persona in grado di modificare Matrix a piacimento ed in grado anche di liberare il genere umano dalla schiavitù delle macchine. Così Morpheus e Trinity, (due ribelli) vanno alla ricerca di Neo dentro Matrix e riescono a liberarlo. Neo però dopo uno scontro con un agente (un programma senziente in grado e entrare e uscire da Matrix pur rimanendovi connesso) il cui nome è Smith, ha la meglio e sovrascrive l'agente Smith. L'agente Smith sconfitto viene confinato in una zona dove i programmi che non hanno più uno scopo preciso rischiano la cancellazione. Avendo ereditato durante la sovrascrittura parte del potenziale di Neo, Smith inizia a ragionare fuori dagli schemi di Matrix e inizia a replicarsi per avere il controllo assoluto su tutto perché il controllo è potere! Nel frattempo le macchine iniziano a cercare Zion e con le trivelle e le seppie arrivano e ingaggiano una lotta spietata contro gli abitanti di Zion che si erano armati fino ai denti per sopravvivere all'assalto delle macchine. Neo scopre di essere l'Eletto e fa un patto con le macchine: avrebbe eliminato Smith che nel frattempo di stava espandendo anche fuori Matrix minacciando la stessa esistenza delle macchine e se Neo avesse avuto la meglio su Smith le macchine avrebbero rinunciato alla guerra, si sarebbero ritirate e avrebbero permesso a chi lo avesse voluto di scollegarsi da Matrix. Neo nel terzo capitolo intuisce che per uccidere Smith deve morire anche lui stesso per bilanciare l'equazione per cui alla fine decide di farsi sovrascrivere da Smith, Neo riesce a distruggere Smith dall'interno facendolo esplodere e in questo modo tutti i cloni di Smith si cancellano. Neo però muore ma le macchine hanno mantenuto la parola: la guerra era finita e le seppie si ritiravano e con la fine delle ostilità Matrix tornava ad essere pulita. La profezia si era avverata, Neo, ossia l'Eletto aveva posto fine alla guerra tra umani e macchine. Alla fine l'Architetto si reca dall'Oracolo e conferma la promessa fatta a Neo: chi vorrà essere liberato, sarà libero. Una trilogia che nasconde significati profondi e che cerca di uniformare il sacro con il profano, ma in fondo non affascina proprio per questo? Sarà perché hanno saputo mescolare magistralmente riferimenti biblici a pura fantascienza?
