Origin PC EON15-S-1080p-GTX1050Ti i7-7700HQ240GB1TB 15.6-Inch Traditional Laptop (Black)

I purchased a laptop from Origin PC (Eon15) that failed within the warranty period (<1 year). The failure has most likely resulted in data loss for me (hard drive failure). Loss of a business laptop/primary computer for an extended period of time is more than an inconvenience, it is a hardship. Their repeatedly thanking me for my patience was infuriating.They instructed me to ship this back for repairs. The time for repair far exceeded my expectations (12 days and still counting). I am astounded they use components in laptops that are not on hand for just these occasions. The QA process is far too lengthy and frankly not reassuring since this struggle concerns an initial product failure.Lost time and lost data aside, I now have the pleasure of paying $86 for shipping a failed laptop back and forth. I was not given any other option for repair.Of course I paid the ransom money to get the machine back (whenever they finish QA and packing) because there is no other option just as there was no other option offered when it failed. This has been a most expensive, time-consuming, and unpleasant experience.I purchased directly from Origin PC but I don’t think this review will ever be posted to their website. For some background, I am an advanced PC user. The drive failure was not related to malware or other issues. More simply put, a poor choice of components is what created this mess. Consider carefully before purchasing from this company.

First gaming laptop I have ever bought, totally worth the purchase. Haven't had any issues at all. Been having the Eon-15s since march and put over 2k gaming hours on it easily and it still feels new. Battery life holds up well when gaming at ultra (with the keyboard and razor mouse having its own firework show)
