What does “Microsoft Teams Certified” mean?

To earn Microsoft Teams Certification, IMPACT 8XXT headsets undergo strict testing for connectivity and audio quality. They fully integrate with Teams, offering call control (answer/end mute, volume) and direct access to Teams via a dedicated button

What is Super Wideband?

Super wideband is an audio technology that extends the frequency range to 100 Hz - 11.5 kHz, delivering clearer, more detailed, and realistic sound. It’s ideal for applications requiring high-quality audio transmission and reception.

What does “adaptive” ANC mean?

This means that the built-in ANC will adapt to the surrounding noise level and only use as much ANC as needed at any given time. This reduces the feeling of occlusion in situations where a high level of ANC is not required.

What does the LED on the microphone do?

This is a mute indicator. This LED will flash red if you try to speak while your microphone is muted, reminding you to unmute yourself.

What is ‘Call volume normalizer’?

Automatically amplify low incoming speech and normalize speech levels during conference calls or online meetings with multiple participants. Non-voice audio signals remain unaffected. This feature can be enabled or disabled in EPOS Connect.
