Silipos Digital Cap, Mesh, Small/Medium, Item 10235, Pack of 8

I bought this finger cap on the recommendation of my doctor when I broke the first joint of my right middle finger. This cap was useful for protecting the tip of my broken finger.

I run every morning and was developing a blister on my little toe. Tried Band-Aids but they kept falling off. My initial thoughts....these digital caps are fantastic! I bought the small/medium, cut one in half and slipped it over my toe. It stretched and fit snuggly. Adds a nice cushion for your toe without adding too much bulk. After a few runs, I can tell you they stay in place and do not move. You can barely feel them.

They will work well on my toes that have corns or other problems.

During recent visit Mom's Dr. provided these size caps to relieve the pressure on her "miss aligned" toes, she got instant relief after years of suffering--but no extras just instructions to hit the internet for replacements and big toe options..Very easy to install just roll on toes like a sock with stretch to fit diameter. The inside gel is thick enough to cushion and sticky enough to keep in place with no added tape or adhesives. I thought about buying the much cheaper "sleeve" versions and sewing the ends but would only add possible irritation at seam. These caps are pre-molded to cover end of toe with no "bump" and long enough to cut to fit most toe lengths and sizes including pinky. As noted they do clean via hand washing and I recommend "rotating" position each day as areas of the gel do thin if kept in same pressure place/points--thus getter more uses per cap. Just FYI I spent days researching options and only found two brands available as caps in personal quantities not hospital bulk. Little shocked at the price but when mom puts them on and sighs with relief they are well worth every penny.

I was able to test it, using it to protect a big blister under my big toe. I popped the blister the night before, the next morning, I put a band aid around the blister and then put the Silipos cap over the toe. I went for a 10 mile hike and it was like I didn’t have a blister at all, no pain, nor annoyed by it. After I got home, I checked the blister and it was fine, no bleeding , nor I had an abrasion. The Silipos cap protected it. I highly recommend it.

I mostly use these to protect my fingers while I work (lots of lifting & moving items, filing, typing, etc. tasks that require some level of manual dexterity). I got hand surgery to repair tendons & nerves.I got these knowing my workplace wouldn't honor my dr's order for work restrictions and my employer threatened me being fired/laid-off if I didn't return to work too early, before being adequately healed.Definitely protects my fingers from some abuse that I'd get if I didn't have them on. The silicone/clear squishy layer inside also softens the outside of my scar.These were recommended by 2 of my physical/occupational therapists.

This might be a fabulous but I wouldn't know. They have an interesting texture, so you feel like your finger is being hugged by a silicone gel tube which is inside a tan colored cloth sleeve. My doctor recommended these for a finger injury. I have small fingers (ring size 6 or smaller) and ordered the small/ medium. These cut off my circulation, even if I stretch them before use. I can't wear it for more than a minute.
