I’ve bleached sections of my hair too many times, and the fun colours I dye it with haven’t been sticking for more than a single wash. The overprocessed parts had turned sad and so dry I was considering whether I really ought to cut them (nooo I’m still growing it out!) Enter this Amino Bond Repair mask. After just two sessions, those bleached sections are already behaving more like normal hair - softer, silkier, more hydrated, and noticeably less straw like and tragic. I use it in place of conditioner, leave it on for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. By the second use (2–3 days apart), the slip stayed even after a very good rinse. Air-drying felt nice, but the real magic showed the next morning - the bleached pieces felt much closer in texture to my healthy hair. What I really appreciate is that the formula is effective without heavy proteins or harsh ingredients. It doesn’t make healthy hair brittle or overloaded. It just reinforces damaged parts and leaves the rest alone. Bonus is this $1.99 packet easily gives 3 or 4 uses. I’ve done two generous applications and still have half a packet left. I’ll keep using this for 2 or 3 more weeks and hopefully my dyes will stick like they used to. Definitely a product I’ll be keeping on hand for use after future bleaching sessions. Hair profile: fine/medium, past shoulder length, straight with a wave at the ends, low porosity and picky about products; half virgin/half over-processed; tangle prone; sleep in a silk bonnet.

This hair mask is an absolute miracle in a jar. After just one use, my hair felt incredibly soft, hydrated, and much easier to manage. I have had some form of red/auburn/burgundy/purple/pink color in my hair for just under 15 years. I believe I postponed any change back to my light blonde because one, I have enjoyed the colors and two, I was daunted by the idea of bleaching it to a level 9 because of the orange and yellow I'd have to endure a long the way. I wasn't wrong. It took three sessions to get all of the artificial dye out so that it could be toned. The results are great, but at a cost: really dry and brittleness, especially near the ends. I used this wonderful stuff after the undye/toning and the difference is beautiful! And my hair stayed clean for four days post treatment. I wasn't sure if I'd have flat/stringy hair by day two...but it wasn't. I am really impressed. I used a clarifying shampoo first to get any excess pigment out, towel-dried and applied the product to really cover my hair and put plastic wrap over it and let it stay on for around an hour. The coconut fragrance is wonderful! Considering I had to use Color Oops! To get the dye out before I could lighten it, I smelled like rotten egg for days. What a welcome respite! I have gone ahead and purchased a 12 ounce bottle to keep my blonde hair looking and feeling wonderful!

I used this after bleaching my hair to add some strength back. It smells so good and the texture is nice and thick. I left it on for 20 minutes just to saturate my hair. After rinsing my hair it was super silky and felt hydrated. It smells nice and tropical without being overwhelming or artificial. Great deep conditioner.

I have naturally coarse, curly hair and it is color-treated. So it is challenging to keep it soft and manageable. But this product does exactly that. It especially prevents frizz, dryness, and fuzzy fly-aways. I use it once a week but I’ve recently just purchased their shampoo, conditioner, and oil too. I’ve become a big fan of their products because they work and they are reasonably priced compared to salon alternatives.

This was my first time using this product but I have used Palmer's skin products before and love them so I thought I would try it. I have very fine, thin hair so typically deep conditioners are either too heavy for my hair or if they promise to to be good for fine thin hair and add volume they dry it out. This conditioner did neither. I absolutely love it! It has a wonderful, light coconut smell. It's a nice thick consistency and is easy to apply. I shampooed my hair as usual and applied it right to my towel dried, damp hair. Ten minutes later I had soft, shiny, bouncy, nice smelling hair! The package is large enough that I can easily get 2 applications out of it. The cost is very reasonable especially when I am used to spending $40-60 on other products that I am often disappointed with. I color my hair and am over 50 so it tends to get that dry frizziness. After using this conditioner my hair was smooth and no longer dry. Great product from Palmer's as usual!

This product is very thick and more than enough for single use (I have short, thick hair). The bonding results were subtle. My curls looked slightly more defined, but it didn’t make a big difference. The scent was also pretty strong, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re prone to allergies.

Have tried multiple products to tame frizz n dryness of hair....be it serums ...from pilgrim to moraccan oil... professional shampoos etc... bt the kind of impact it gv in first use. Anazing...i bought two more.... i also tried Palmers olive deep condition sth...so two weeks n my hair feel amazing. So its a weekly plan now...go for it...apply generously...cover 10 min min wt plastic cap n enjoy. Hope it helps ppl like me who dont spend time in styling etc. I just wash hair..let yhem naturally dry n move. No fuss.
