Good quality picture, had a delay on my DVR. Previous one was real time, and this one had a delay. Not sure how to fix it!

Brand: Marquis. Model: IPC-XD824 I have three cameras Inwerang IW-IE2383. I need more IP cameras but unfortunately I can’t find IW-IE2383 anywhere, so I decided to check other brands. I connected this camera, set up picture turned OFF white light and set to infrared light. I always set sharpness to “0” to avoid edge contouring, edge hallo, so I did it in this camera also, but hallo was still present. IMO sharpness shouldn’t exist in digital cameras at all. We need pixel to pixel mapping to get the sharpest picture possible without any “Enhancements”. One star off I put this camera next to my Inwerang IW-IE2383 and checked picture. It was OK, not as sharp as Inwerang IW-IE2383, because of hallo, but is OK. I checked picture on the first night and I was good. (With infrared light. I turned white light OFF, I don’t need this light indoor). I also checked night vision with white light. Picture is in color and good enough, but light is bright and useless in my place. (Indoor). Unfortunately next night Infrared was OFF and I couldn’t turn it ON. Resets and even factory reset didn’t help. Infrared light is dead. Another star off.

Good quality camera for the price. Not as clear in the dark as they are during the day.

I wasn’t sure if it would be compatible with my particular brand of wired system, but it is. In addition, the quality is better than my other cameras. If it holds up to the elements I will buy more.

I purchased five units, which were straightforward to configure with the PoE switch and NVR via ONVIF. Both video and audio functionality are performing as expected. However, the devices periodically go offline and require a hard reboot to restore connectivity.
