I bought these out of desperation. I spray the plants with smelly deer repellent, but if it rains or I don't keep up with it, Bambi and crew are most pleased to eat everything in the space of a night or two. I have spent quite a bit of money on landscaping and I don't care to have it regarded as a free salad bar. So.....what to do?I had my doubts these blinkers would really work, but I thought nothing ventured, nothing learned. Well, I'll be damned. Since placing these in my yard 2 months ago every night, I haven't had one single thing eaten or even nibbled on. I followed the advice I read online and placed one in one specific area where all the hostas are and the other in another area where they like to eat things. The trick is to constantly rotate these around your yard, but always within eyesight of where the deer will potentially try to eat your plants. I have placed nails in various tree trunks around my yard about 4' high, so the blinkers are never in the same place too frequently. Another thing I do is take these into the garage and super charge them under a light that stays on all day. They hold a charge and blink for 11+ hours. I gave my parents a set and they have had the same wonderful results....not one hosta touched.And I'll say this. I went out into the yard on a dark night to see the full effect and the creep factor is excellent. I can see why the deer don't like these. They look like red eyes watching. The blinking makes them even creepier.I'd 110% recommend these. These are sooooo worth it and I can finally wake up each morning and enjoy my hostas.....with the leaves still on them!!! Hope I don't jinx myself by writing this reveiw!!Update...I didn't jinx myself and these kept right on blinking through one of the worst night time thunderstorms you can imagine.Update #2....I did not put these out one night because of a bad hurricane that came through. I figured the deer wouldn't be out in that kind of weather. Guess again...no blinkers out, so they ate several hostas. Sneaky, smart little buggers!

Works as it should.

We are creekside with all kinds of wildlife visiting almost nightly. We have a feral kitty who sleeps on the deck. One night we picked up a coyote on the camera standing near the kitty. So we bought these immediately. We installed them then watched the camera nightly to see what would happen. The answer is nothing. The coyote walked right by it and right back onto our deck. Can’t recommend.

You have to be careful in purchasing this product. Some sellers are selling just one, but this seller had a two pack for almost the same price of one from other sellers. Nothing fancy. A single blinking pattern. Bought it to keep deer away from my shrubs. Does it work? Had it for about 2 months and so far keeping my fingers crossed. I see deer poop in my backyard, but they haven't touched the shrubs that the Predator eye is located near. Is it luck or does it work? That's the question, but so far so good. My neighbor also bought a set and his shrubs near the Predator haven't been touched but 20 ft away all his flowers were eaten, so it seems to work only in close proximity.

I bought 4 of these lights in 2022 and they all still work! I haven't had any predator attacks at night, so I guess they help.

Bought these 5 years ago after deer started nibbling at my vegetable garden beds. Hung them from tomato cages & they worked great. Then 3 years ago stuff happened and I physically (and mentally) couldn’t get around to gardening again. It quickly became an impenetrable mess of weeds, brambles, and honeysuckle. I finally found the energy to reclaim some of them this weekend. I found one of these lights - in the dirt & under a tangle of vines, solar panel dangling by its wires, and the clip on the back broken off. Tossed it in the trash pile and didn’t think anything of it until I walked my dog that night - IT STILL WORKS! Just blinking away like it hadn’t been buried for years.

No more bird feces on my bricks. Works well.

I bought (2) packs (each pack containing two devices). Only 3 out of the 4 worked as soon as they were installed. The ones that do work were super easy to set up and do pick up on motion well. Not terrible for the price. You get what you pay for!
