Solid Entry-Level GPU for 1080p Gaming
Installed the ASUS Dual RTX 3050 6GB OC Edition in a budget-oriented build paired with a mid-range Intel CPU. Setup was straightforward, and the card powered up without any driver issues. For 1080p gaming, performance is solid in esports titles and lighter AAA games at medium to high settings. More demanding modern games may require adjusted settings, but overall frame rates remain playable. DLSS support helps improve performance in supported titles. The dual-fan design keeps temperatures controlled, and noise levels stay reasonable under load. Power consumption is also modest, making it suitable for builds that don’t require a high-wattage power supply. This card is best suited for entry-level gaming systems, office-to-gaming upgrades, or compact builds where efficiency and cost balance matter more than ultra-high settings. Overall, a dependable option for users targeting smooth 1080p performance without stepping into higher price tiers.

Amazing graphics upgrade and value
I upgraded my old card and this was simple plug and play. The upgrade is SO worth it - enhanced memory, speed, all of it. I do hear the fans power up during my intense games, but most of the time it's very quiet.

The perfect Graphic card for mid to lower power user demands
I bought for a different computer to upgrade it, but it had a bad mother board, It was working great until it wasn't, I purchase a used 5 years old computer that had a built in Graphics card that was not what I needed, it was a mini atx design and this card being shorter than in length fit perfectly in this case. After downloading the drivers it worked like a charm! It is perfect for my needs and brings the monitor to live and makes a high definition 1080p Asus monitor into a 4k monitor!!! This card does not need extra cables for power, it uses the power from the motherboard, just make sure you have an ample power supply!

The BEST GPU available for a DELL Optiplex MiniTower PC!
So, you bought yourself a Dell Optiplex MT PC, any you have a 260 or 290W Power Supply with no GPU power plug available. Your options are a new AMD RX 6400 with 4GB or several older GPUs. Worse, you have your heart set on playing Elder Scrolls: Oblivion Remastered! Now, you COULD do that with the RX 6400, but, let me tell you, it's a painful experience. Enter the NVidia RTX 3050 6GB. The blackist of the black sheep in the NVidia line-up, the RTX 3050 is the best GPU you can put inside that Minitower case without some sort of Frankenstein Power Supply modification. While overall, it's performance is slightly better than the RX 6400, in terms of ESOR, it's phenominal. It does this for slightly more money (I bought mine on sale/MSRP), with less noise than the RX 6400. It fits inside the case without any adjustment or modification. In addition, the 6GB capacity of the GPU means that ESOR when it boots isn't going to nag you telling you the minimum required memory for the game is 6GB! Overall, I am extremely pleased with the purchase. For the money, for my gaming needs and desires, this GPU allows me to slide into a slightly better performance bracket without a major outlay of funds for not only a GPU but a new power supply. So, again, if you have a Optiplex MT and want the best GPU you can buy without buying a new power supply along with it, this is the GPU to buy.

⭐ Review: ASUS Dual NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 6GB OC Edition — 4 out of 5 Stars
After upgrading from my previous GTX 1660 Super, I picked up the ASUS Dual NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 6GB OC Edition, powered by NVIDIA, and overall, it has been a solid and dependable entry-level GPU with a surprising amount of capability for its price range. 🌟 The Good • Entry-level ray tracing + DLSS support For a budget card, it does offer real RTX features. You get entry-level ray tracing performance and the ability to use DLSS in compatible games—something older GPUs like the 1660 Super can’t do at all. • 6GB VRAM instead of the original 4GB 3050 The bump to 6GB makes a noticeable difference in modern titles, especially those that are becoming more memory-heavy year after year. • Compact, efficient, and extremely easy to install The Dual-fan design is compact compared to massive triple-fan cards, making it perfect for smaller cases. Even better: it does not require a 6- or 8-pin power connector, meaning it’s truly plug-and-play. It draws only about 150W, making it one of the more power-efficient cards available. • Quiet most of the time During normal gaming loads, it stays relatively quiet. • Solid performance in popular games Valorant: 144 FPS easily Fortnite: 70+ FPS For eSports or lightly demanding games, this card absolutely delivers. • Sturdy build + a very reasonable price The card feels well-made, and for the money, the value is hard to beat. ⚠️ The Downsides • Entry-level to mid-range performance ceiling While you can enable ray tracing, the performance hit is huge. Ray reconstruction actually hurts FPS, and DLSS 4.5 / 4.5L can drag framerates into the single digits. • No access to Nvidia Frame Generation This feature is only available on RTX 40-series cards, which puts a hard limit on future scalability. • Not ideal for newer, demanding modern games Because the card pulls all its power from the motherboard and lacks a dedicated PCIe power connector, it simply can’t reach the performance ceiling necessary for games like Crimson Desert. • Can get loud under heavy load While mostly quiet, the fans ramp up noticeably when the GPU is pushed hard. • Not a high-end RTX card—don’t expect miracles It is NOT stronger than a 2070/2080 Ti, or even a 3060. The closest comparison is a GTX 1660 Super with RTX features added. There is an improvement—just not a dramatic one, and not one that will age gracefully as modern games continue to grow in complexity. ⭐ Final Verdict — 4 Stars The ASUS Dual RTX 3050 6GB OC Edition is: A great budget GPU Energy-efficient and easy to install Sturdy and well-built Capable of smooth performance in many popular games Reasonably priced with real RTX support But it’s also: Not future-proof Not powerful enough for heavy RTX workloads Not competitive with mid-tier or older high-end cards If I had the chance to do it again, I might have waited and saved up for something more powerful. But at its price point, this card still offers great value and dependable performance for the right user. A good card at a stellar price—just not everything I had hoped for in hindsight; that being said, it's a great start in to the RTX world of gaming.

Perfect for budget gpu
Very fast frames, extremely good quality for the price, it is quiet, looks aesthetically pleasing, warms up a little bit but the two fans keep it cool, no extra psu cable needed, may need a larger gpu bracket though, mine didnt fit, but gpu sag isnt major. very compatible with multiple displays, and keels up with everyday bumps and whatnot

RTX 3050 6GB OC Edition in Dell Inspiron 3030
I installed the RTX 3050 6GB OC Edition card in my Dell Inspiron 3030 (similar 3020, which I think is more popular). I also upgraded the power supply from the original 180 watt supply to LXun AC460EBS-00. Dell's manual for the 3020 said this graphics card is one of three cards that Dell sold in their system. The manual also indicates the system came with 180-, 300- or 460-watt power supplies. Since this card is 70 watts, I would think a 300 watt supply would be fine, but I wasn't finding one on Amazon that I was confident would be compatible in the system. The booklet that came with the card showed plugging in two six-pin connectors to power the card, which worried me for a bit because I bought it with the understanding that it is powered through the motherboard. The card itself does not actually have the connectors and it the only connection to make is plugging it into the motherboard slot. So maybe the booklet is more accurate for the 8GB card in that respect. Trying to install the thing under my desk in the dark (and not having the eyes I once did), I thought it was seated all the way, but it was still unseated by a millimeter or two towards the output side, so my computer wanted me to enter Bitlocker recovery keys until I pulled the card back out, tried again, and got it fully seated. Working great so far.

Seems great so far.
Just a little info, the card isn't amazing if you look at online reviews. But from going from no ray tracing to at least something a bit better with Ray tracing. Huge difference when I play Arc Raiders. I'm more than happy with it.

Highly recommend
Amazing GPU to start off with, had a 1050ti on my laptop and it's double or more in performance. No PSU connectors, pci express slot is enough.
