I have purchased and installed three of these! What a great value for the money. They are very quiet, easy to install and heat and cool like crazy. Also, they are efficient. One improvement could be to the remote control… It is a little bit difficult to understand some of the controls. Overall, a great product and I would buy again.

Excellent product, pay attention to flammability

I have had the unit for 10 months, the inside unit has been replaced once and now as a defective circuit board. I have 7 emails back and forth to the company and still unit is broken. I guess they are waiting till July so the warranty will be out. Do not waste your money on the ROVSUN Company

Works

Outdoor unit incredibly quiet. The indoor unit has developed a loud tick from the fan. Install 5/10 difficulty. Keeps the house at a nice temp.

Licensed HVAC/R technician. Fifteen years in the business. The units arrived separately and the restaurant it was going in is only closed on Mondays. So, that's when the owner prefers I work there on that day when there's no one else there. I went and installed it on 6/17. It ran perfectly fine for about an hour and tripped the breaker. I reset the breaker and the indoor unit came on but not the outdoor unit. It was showing a communication error. I contacted the seller immediately to inform them the unit was defective. There's no customer service or tech support number to call. It's all handled through Amazon messages. It takes them at least 24 hours to respond. You can be sitting at your computer when you get the message and respond immediately. It's going to be the next business day before you hear back from them. They wanted me to return to the job to do some troubleshooting. I did and sent my findings from my phone at the job site. Three days went by and I didn't hear anything from them so I filed a claim with Amazon. They refunded my money on the 24th. So, a full 7 days I've had a customer with no A/C and temps in the upper nineties for 7 days and counting. I can't even submit an invoice to get paid until I get him going. So now I have to go to my local wholesaler which is what I should've done to begin with and purchase another new system. Then, I have to go uninstall this one and install the new one. Then I have to go through the aggravation of shipping it back to them. I saved maybe $250 bucks ordering this system over buying one from my local wholesaler. It's not worth it, lesson learned. It would've been a very good deal had it worked properly.

Really good quality works perfect worth every penny

This unit is not a simple install. You do not simply cut a hole in the wall put it on a bracket and plug everything in and it works. I had to contact an air conditioner person to come out and install this because it has to be charged and there's wires involved plus there is gas in the unit when you get it so if you unscrew it you're leaking the gas into your environment. Not only that when I got the unit there was not a paracord so the person that I was paying per hour had to go to the store and purchase a paracord and install that as well and charge the unit with freon. So don't think you're just going to get this thing out of the box and throw it up it does not work that way. Once it is installed it works really well at least during the summer I don't know how the heater will operate but where I'm at the temperature is 102 in the afternoon I do have to use another small unit and it's a 400 ft room. Please be careful and make sure you have all parts before you throw away the box like I did. Good luck.
