Update: My initial issue with this projector was that it's too dark. That still stands for my initial needs. That aside, at night its found a place in my home, and I've begun to really enjoy it. I have been able to cast off my phone and connect to YouTube and Netflix just fine. This isn't our main projector but I have found the built in speaker to be good enough for light viewing. The ability to cast my phone is enough for me to actual get some use from projector. I know this a more common feature these days but its new to me and I like having it built in. I've moved it around a few times since getting it and there is something to be said about auto keystone and auto focus at this price range. Its a very nice feature that I didn't realize I would use and has made this projector the one I would bring with me to an impromptu movie viewing for how quick it is to setup. Its stays in my bedroom for now, with my latest grip being that the app store should be the google app store. Casting has been the most convenient option to get around this as it pairs almost seamlessly but I'd like to be able to load my niche streaming services like Dropout without much fuss. All in all I wasn't expecting to like this as much as I do, sometimes I get lazy and the simplicity of something like this is appealing.Original: Unit was opened and immediately put back in The box. Listing says 700 ANSI, it’s not even half that bright We had an eclipse and this image was still to dark. The NexiGoPJ40 was so bright in comparison. I thought the audio issue I between the Nexi and my sound system was worth trying something with “Dolby” but not I’m reconsidering the NexiGo. There was a tin rattle whenever I actively turned on Dolby audio.If you have a pitched black room, or you only intend to use it at night, I would say it’s probably a nice deal, but don’t get it for the Dolby audio,It’s average at best. The apps and the simplicity of the apps is still appealing, but there are better options if you want better quality video for the price.PS. Get a sound bar, finding it’s the simplest solution to connect higher quality audio to these sub 500$ projectors. There low voltage impedance when I connect my bose sound system in any of these projectores as they only have Audio in these days. It’s like a static that just doesn’t need to be there when things are supposed to be quieter.

The media could not be loaded. I've been using the K9 projector daily for one month! I purchased a floating shelf to have the projector over my beds headboard projecting to the opposite wall (no screen). Image quality is insane and the picture is bright so that I can use it during the day with the blinds closed. I've had many other projectors and this one beats them all! These are the features that were really big for me:#1 Auto Focus + Keystone - I've had other projectors that had this similar feature, but they don't always work perfectly. Expecting the same results with this projector, I was really surprised because this projector is almost flawless and does not error out like my past projectors.#2 Fan noise - This one is HUGE! The old projector was really loud and actually made my bedroom HOT. You can still hear the fan noise with the K9, but it is not noticeable while watching a show (I usually keep my volume at 10). ALSO I would watch shows/movies and have the projector running for over 3 hours and my room stays cool!#3 Tilting mechanism - I think this is overlooked, but this is a big feature for me. With my old projector, I had to find things to prop under the device to tilt the projection higher. With this projector I no longer need to search around for books and notepads haha.Now here are some other features of the projector that are awesome:#1 Netflix/other streaming platforms - The K9 has integrated streaming platforms so I don't need to hook up another device to watch shows. I love this feature because it makes navigation a lot smoother and less buffering.#2 Dolby Audio - The sound quality on this thing is crazy! Make sure to go into settings and enable it because it makes a HUGE difference.

The media could not be loaded. We've been using this projector for the past several days and we love it! We were looking for a replacement for an older portable projector we'd been using outdoors and wanted something brighter and with more features. This projector is exactly what we were looking for. We've used it outside at night and also tested it indoors during the day and were amazed at how bright and clear the picture ways, even in daylight! Below are some of our favorite features:1. The autofocus and auto keystone correction are such a time saver! We had to do this manually with our previous projector which would take several minutes just to get set up so that we could watch something. This takes out all that hassle and does both perfectly and automatically in just seconds.2. There are plenty of built in apps and many more to choose from! We have a separate firestick that we had to hook up to our old projector to watch anything and with this projector, many times that's not even needed. We did hook the firestick up just to test it out and it was plug and play and so simple to do.3. The picture is amazing! It is crisper and brighter than our other normal TV's that we have in the house. I was amazed at just how clear it was the first time we used it. It's bright enough where you can use it indoors during the day as well.We happen to have a Bluetooth surround sound system that we connect too which we were able to do with ease. We tested the built in audio first and were quite surprised at how loud and clear it was. Even if you don't have separate speakers, you can get pretty decent audio quality with the built in sound. All in all I would highly recommend this projector!
