The radiator is chunky at 38mm thick! 240, 360, 420mm options. Comes with a socket retention backplate to prevent bowing on LGA 1700 sockets. Almost twice as thick as any of the other brand so make sure you have clearance in your case! They have a mounting design like nobody else with the pump mounted perpendicular on top of the all copper base. Engineered in Germany. 6 YEAR WARRANTY Killer RGB fans. Arctic is back and at it their best. They are back with a vengeance. Used them 20 years ago for air cpu coolers and they were excellent then. Been using thier thermalpaste exclusively since. It comes with a tube of Arctic Silver thermal paste that has enough for 2,3, or 4 applications. (if you don't over apply) The size of a pea is all it takes in a lengthwise line about a 1/2 inch long in the center. There is also a fan built into the CPU block to provide even more cooling to your VRM heat sinks W/ VERY NICE RGB as well as removeable! It pops right off for quick and easy cleaning. Built in cable management! One 4 pin pwm plug powers the pump and the 3 fans. (connects to cpu fan header) Another 3 pin wire for RGB. This makes installation look very neat and very easy. No spaghetti! If you're in the market for a new AIO, try this Arctic first. Tou can buy 3 of the 420's for the price of 1 top of the line 420 Core Sai. Excellent cooler for AMD
I bought this to replace another MUCH more expensive cooler (Discard the Kraken!!) that did a miserable job. With an AIO swap I went from 50C idle, 80C when gaming and thermal throttling at 95C when rendering on my 7700X to 38C at idle, 45 to 48C gaming and about 77C rendering with much higher sustained clock speeds. The radiator itself is kind of thick, so be careful if you are space constrained in that way. It's nearly silent (unlike the old one) under all but the most extreme workloads, and even when the fans do need to ramp up they are far quieter. Three minor complaints. First, the fans look like they are from 2009 or so... very dated appearance. Second, the spring mount on the water block/pump is STRONG. It is a bit challenging to start the second screw, be careful you don't slip and poke your motherboard. And third, the RGB cable is a bit short if you mount the fans as intakes on the front of your case. They get moved to the other side of the radiator, and no matter how I routed the cable I had to pull it tight to make the connection. Even when put together, those complaints in no way counter the excellent performance I'm seeing with this cooler. At some point I'll replace all my fans with a matching set, and the dated look doesn't detract from performance. You could run a separate RGB cable and control the fans separately from the pump, so there are certainly options there. And yeah, if it's a little difficult to start the mounting screws, but it works this well?? I'll put up with it. Highly recommend this cooler, and it will be choice 1 for every build I do going forward.. at least until they release something better!

The ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 360 A-RGB is an absolute cooling beast. From top-tier performance to whisper-quiet operation, this AIO cooler sets the bar in every category. Temps are impressively low—even under heavy workloads and overclocked conditions—thanks to the powerful, efficient pump and innovative VRM fan built into the block. GREAT COOLER
I had replaced my previous fan because it didn't seem to be able to my CPU cool enough. The install on this was pretty straightforward albeit a pain because I had to work around some preexisting cords and things from my initial build. The sound you hear in video is actually the fish tank behind me. This cooler is so quiet. There's a low hum but not loud. My previous fan was Deep Cool and it was LOUD when it had to keep up with multiple processes. My PC seems much more responsive now as well. It's a great buy for the cost and quality, and my PC looks beautiful 😍. The RGB from the CPU and my fans are not synced but the color variation is so bright and visually pleasing. The one con is that it didn't come with an Intel mount but luckily, I had a spare since I just replaced another CPU's cooler with an Arctic (smaller PC build) and that was an AMD CPU.

Very pleased with the performance, but I have a complaint...
The fans it comes with look great, but I ended up replacing them with Corsair LX120 fans to keep all my fans under one piece of software. So I can't comment on the fans this comes with, but they looked and felt great and are sitting in the box the AIO came in. I have two complaints I want to get off my chest before saying anything nice, and I really hope someone from Arctic reads these... First one is minor, but the tubes going to and from the radiator are incredibly stiff. Perhaps there's a technical reason for this. But it makes installation a bit more challenging than my experience with Corsair AIO's. But this is a minor complaint and a very minor inconvenience. But my major complaint, and this is a big one.. The mounting system for this thing, the screw you have to put into the mounting brackets... WORST... COOLER.... INSTALLATION.... EVER! It's fiddly, and just when you think you have the second screw in.. It pops out, and this happens over, and over again. I had to remove my NVMe heat sink (it's a chonky thing on my ASUS ROG Strix X870E-E motherboard) to even facilitate getting the second screw in, and then I had to carefully (and it was annoyingly like threading a needle) put the NVMe heat sink back on which took another 20 minutes. This installation was the most difficult AIO installation I've ever had and I'm not sure I have ever had a more challenging heat sink installation prior to this. If I had had a second AIO option on hand when I built my PC, I'd have returned this solely because of the absolute pain getting this thing installed was. I don't blame Arctic for the NVMe heat sink. Even once removing the heat sink installation was still another 10 minute ordeal. Please make this easier Arctic.. Please! With that out of the way, it performs exceptionally well once installed, and keeps my Ryzen 9 9950X at 32c (42c package temp) at idle and under real world loads I never see my temps go much over 65-68C. My CPU occasionally spikes to 80c under real world load but quickly returns to my 65-68C temps. So performance wise this thing is amazing. I'm not sure what the temps would look like with the stock fans, but the Corsair LX120 fans do have higher static pressure and are great radiator fans. I'm pleased with the performance, but with the lousy installation bracket and two screws thing I have a very difficult time recommending it. I have it four stars, because it's cooling performance is fantastic and I bought it for that purpose. I knocked off the one star for the horrible installation. Let me just say if I rated this based solely on installation I'd give it 1 star.

Best Value-Performance combo for an AIO Cooler w/ARGB lighting
Very nice build quality and materials. Cools great. Installation is easy with the simple two screw flexible metal leaf spring mechanism that attaches the AIO heat sink/pump assy to the CPU. I installed this one for an AMD 4 type CPU with no issues. The radiator cooling fans and VRM fan are very quiet at all speeds and move plenty of air/heat. The only drawback I can see with this new version of the ARCTIC Liquid Freezer line of AIO CPU coolers is the pump is noisy at high operating rpm ranges. If you throttle it up to 100% operating duty cycle (yes it is PWM controlled) it is really is loud. Like noticeably loud. After observing the loud pump whine noise at high RPMs I did some research and was surprised to read on some forums of other early adopters observing the same loud pump noise issue, especially when they run it at 100% speed. This is not good as it's for many it's a best practice to always run the AIO water pump at 100% speed and only use your UEFI BIOS to control the speeds of the radiator fans and the VRM fan based on CPU temperature. So for this AIO you'll also be forced to throttle the AIO water pump motor by basing its operating duty cycle based on CPU temp and starting its temp/duty cycle curve in my experience at at most 50% on-time duty cycle in order to not have to deal with the loud water pump whining noise. BTW, I installed this AIO in a beQuiet case that is very insulated and quiet compared to many other Cases. In closing, I was able to work around the loud water noise issue by controlling the water pump motor speed or running on-time duty-cycle with a temp temperature curve keeping it at about 50% speed till the CPU temps rise up much higher (which mine do not as I'm not doing high-stress computing work, over-clocking, or gaming) and this was for an older AMD 4 series AMD Ryzen 7 5700X CPU that doesn't produce a lot of heat and is not over-clocked at all. If you're running a high-speed latest and greatest CPU you'll definitely need to run the water pump speed faster and will be more likely to observe the water pump noise issue people are just starting to talk about.

great cooler at an amazing price
I’ve had this for a while now and it keeps my 9600x super cool! around 25-30C idle temps (depends on ambient temp) and nice temps under full load. easy to install and looks good, too!

AM5 Installation is Awful due to the Leaf Spring. Not enough improvement from Liquid Freezer II.
UPDATE 09/01/24: I ended up replacing this cooler with a Thermalright Prism 360, which despite having a slightly skinnier radiator has a much better cold plate and flatness contact with the CPU. And, because the Thermalright Prism 360 installation had the tubing to the side of the CPU near the RAM, I can once again use my motherboard's NVME slot between the CPU and GPU. I did notice while removing the Arctic Liquid Freezer III that the leaf spring had flattened out more compared to when I first bought and installed the cooler, not sure long-term what ramification it may have for performance (which wasn't that good to begin), but it is something worth noting. I cannot recommend this cooler besides the fact that Arctic as a company has proven to have good customer service, given previous QC issues and their proactive customer service at the time. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I bought this Liquid Freezer III 360 to replace my Liquid Freezer II 360, that was about as close to a perfect CLC as I ever had. I had watched the Gamers Nexus review, but Mike didn't emphasize enough how much of a pain that leaf spring really is. Let me summarize for you: this was the worst installation of a PC component I ever had to deal with, and that's after working with mini ITX systems years ago. The leaf spring will fight you to get the second thread going on the second of 2 screws needed to secure the pump/cold block assembly to the motherboard (after installing the brackets), at least on AM5. You need to tread the first leaf spring screw enough that it doesn't pop out when doing the second one, but not too far to prevent the other one from making contact with the bracket. It's a HUGE pain to install this. If you have a Liquid Freezer II with the new gasket and QC check, and you are happy with it, stay with that one. Don't buy this one. The performance is about the same, marginally better, and although the VRM fan is bigger and much better this time it's not enough to warrant an upgrade. Whoever thought of this awful leaf spring at Arctic should be fired, seriously.
