Fast and versatile
Finally had a need for this and it performed admirably. I like that it adapts to USB, USB-C, and Lightning. It was plug and play, worked well with my camera SD card and compact flash cards from old cameras, and was fast. Definable has a home in my computer gear.

USB lightning card reader
Very happy with how easy this was to transfer my pictures from my camera card chip to my phone/ computer. It uses different sized chip cards and has 3 different phone cords to choose from. Highly recommend this product.

It would not work with my Mac
I was trying to download a CF card. I tried everything I could and my Mac would not even recognize the drive when I connected the USB. The light came on showing it was working, but my computer would not acknowledge that it was connected. I even did a search to see if I needed a certain driver installed to use it. I was in quite a bind to get that card downloaded and this was frustrating that it didn't work. I finally searched my box of random cords and found one that fit my old card reader and since it was a lightning cord it took much much longer to transfer but I was able to do what I wanted. But I would still like to know why this charger was not compatible with my Mac.

Great, when it works. The USB A connection is flaky.
I tested this with several flash media, and it worked with Compact Flash, SD, MMC, microSD, and xD. I don't have any Memory Stick or Memory Stick Duo. The part the cards fit into is durable, but the cable is stiff, and I can see it splitting or cracking over time. Each storage type shows up as its own drive letter, which is fine by me.It works flawlessly with the USB C connection. The attached USB A adapter is flaky. Sometimes it works, but it will slow down or even drop the connection if you bump it. The cards I tested with claim 160MB/s read and 120MB/s write (Samsung), and 180MB/s read and 130MB/s write (Sandisk). You can see when the USB A adapter is working the performance matches the native USB C. But when it's not making a good connection, it slows down quite a bit. I had one test that I cancelled because it was going to take hours to run due to the bad connection.I'm probably going to try to get a replacement.
