Precision and well built flashlight using 2 AAA batteries. It is brighter then flashlights using 9 LEDS and 3 batteries and led pucks using 24 LEDS. It is CRI 95 rated, thus produces a more accurate light which is somewhat warmer color the typical bluish LED.

The light is sufficient, not as bright as the penlight it replaced, which to be fair cost $20.00. The beam will not "focus" to give you that nice crisp edge at any position of the zoom. The color temp I would say is towards the warm white. If you looking for a blazingly bright penlight, this is not it but it will get the job done.

Very bright light for the size. Zoom capability definitely worth the price. Used as both inspection light and for navigating in dark areas.

As someone who is CPR and first aid certified and also an outdoors enthusiast, this flashlight comes in handy. I keep it in my purse with my first aid kid. Then come time for camping or hunting, I keep it in my pack. It takes 2 AAA batteries and is super handy. It also seems very sturdy!
