Overall it was a pretty easy and step-by-step instruction was on point. I did the test and it worked. I got two lines. Unfortunately my water needs to be addressed.

The test was incredibly easy to use and the instructions were very clear. I had no trouble reading the results, and it gave me real peace of mind about my water. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I’d love to see it third-party tested or certified so I could feel even more confident in the accuracy.

The package does NOT come with physical instructions; you have to scan a QR code or look them up, so keep that in mind. I had no problem with getting the instructions or doing the actual test. I used this to test my friend's water (she bought a very old house), and it came back positive. A week later, a tech came out to her house to test the water, and also got a positive result, so it was accurate for me! I highly recommend testing your water with a kit like this before spending 10x the money on a technician.

I cannot recommend this product, and I’m not sure the results can be trusted. I first purchased a Watersafe kit that included a lead test. That test came back positive, so I ordered this two-pack of lead-only tests to double-check. Both my tap water and my reverse osmosis water again tested positive for lead. One of the RO tests seemed borderline, but after reviewing it carefully (and even using AI image analysis), it still appeared to be positive. With three separate positives from Watersafe, I felt I had no choice but to order a professional lab analysis through Tap Score. The certified lab report showed no detectable lead in my water. While I’m relieved that the lab confirmed my water is safe, I’m very disappointed that the Watersafe kits were so unreliable. A home test should provide peace of mind, but in this case it caused unnecessary stress and extra expense. If accurate results matter to you, I recommend skipping this kit and going straight to a certified lab test.
