We became vegan in June. It's been quite a journey and honestly tough sometimes. Having picky eaters, it's hard to get the essential nutrients into them that they need. I actually saw this brand on a vegan fb page so I thought I'd try it out. Everyone was talkin about how good it tasted. I've purchased a few different brands and we've been going through them SLOWLY because the taste of them is just eww...we gota choke um down. Now with OWYN, that is not the case. I love how there are 3 options for flavors. We all love drinking these. They smell good. They taste good. Just a lil too sweet for me so I water mine down a bit but I'm not begging my girls to choke it down. They happily drink it and take it w them for lunch. I workout and then reach for one of these. So filling.

I have been drinking OWYN 32g Elite drinks for about two years, and have spent hundreds of dollars on 7 orders from Amazon, and countless more orders from Whole Foods and the OWYN website. I used to get coupons via email all the time, but that ended several months ago. The last two batches I purchased (from two different suppliers - OWYN and Amazon) were very inconsistent, and several bottles ended up being way too thick - some unpourable. Several bottles were also super grainy for some reason, and were undrinkable. I used to LOVE these OWYN Elite 32g shakes. I was a regular customer, using coupons/discounts every single time, spending many hundreds of dollars, ... so why did the discounts end? Why am I suddenly expected to pay full price now, having been a consistent customer for over 2 years? The deals and product quality have disappeared, so it looks like OWYN and I are finished.

These taste great and are excellent for hitting protein goals and for keeping in your bag for easy access when you have days where you are on the run nonstop. I like the variety of flavors and have reordered these several times.

I decided to try OWYN shakes since they were high in protein, dairy free and gluten free. I also needed something on the go when I don’t have time to make a shake. I bought the mixed case of 12 during Prime Day which consisted of: Vanilla- definitely my least favorite! The taste was horrible. Reminded me of asparagus and was somewhat chunky on top of being thick. Not sure if had gone bad so I’ll try another from the case but I’m not going to force myself to drink it like I did the first one if it tastes that bad again. Chocolate- much better flavor though pretty thick. Had a slight aftertaste but not as bad as the vanilla. No nut butter cup - my favorite! Great taste and much smoother. Definitely will be ordering more of these.

Favor is good, love that it's higher protein than regular, but it's like trying to drink pudding. It's way to thick which gives it a mouth feel that makes me want to gag.
