Super tasty peanuts!
I rarely take the time to review things I buy on Amazon, but here we are. I ordered these peanuts because I had a few cravings for roasted peanuts, boiled peanuts, peanut butter, and to try and grow a few plants for fun, because they are cool. I have ordered raw peanuts on Amazon before and they were kind of, meh. When I got this brand I burnt the first round, but they still tasted better than before. Since then ,I have roasted a couple more batches and have made peanut butter from one of them. I love these peanuts! They are outstanding with great texture and good cracking open ease. 10lbs sounds like a lot, but I will run out soon enough and will be reordering when I do. Highly recommendable. Well done to the producers!

These peanuts are great for making Cajun boiled peanuts....
I love these peanuts. They are large and very good quality. I love Cajun boiled peanuts made in my InstantPot. Here is my recipe (might be a tad on the spicy side for some): 8 Cups of water 1 pound of raw peanuts - rinsed in a colander. Pick out any that don't look good. I still use the ones that have cracks. 2/3 cup of regular iodized salt 4 tablespoons of Tony Chachere's Cajun Seasoning. It's in a green container by the spices in the grocery store. 3 tablespoons of liquid crab/shrimp boil. I get this by the Cajun seasoning in the grocery but I live near the Atlantic coast where we do a lot of crab and shrimp boils. You may have to get it online. I suppose you could use Old Bay but I like the liquid stuff. I have also tried adding a bit of fish sauce but it seems to get a bit funky. Put water, Cajun Seasoning, salt, and liquid crab boil in the InstantPot and set to manual for 240 minutes. Do not put the lid on. Stir occasionally for about 10 minutes to dissolve the ingredients. Add the rinsed peanuts. Put the lid on and close the steam vent. Wait until the 4 hours is up and let it sit to naturally vent. It will go into warm mode. Let it sit for another couple of hours and vent any remaining steam. Strain the liquid from the peanuts in a colander. Eat them right then or you can let them cool in a covered bowl and refrigerate. I like to do this and put a cup or two of peanuts in a bowl and microwave them on high for 1.5 minutes for a single serving. 1 pound will last a few days for me. You can also portion them into sandwich zip bags and take them to work to heat up in a bowl. Adjust the recipe to your taste and double or triple the amount if you want. I wouldn't try to do more than 2-3 pounds in an InstantPot at one time. IF you soak them too long they may get too salty and mushy. Personal preference but that is how I like to cook them. Good luck!

Freshness was good
I make boiled peanuts a lot, and these were great. Huge amount for an affordable price. I was expecting them to be a little bit larger but they're still worth it.

Soak them first.
I’ve been eating boiled peanuts since I was a little kid . we used to even grow them in our own garden. We’ve only ever purchased them from the store as Green when they’re available or when we’ve taking them right from our garden They are rarely available where I live now , and sometimes I’ve driven far out of my way to a Winn-Dixie that had some. They are about the only grocery store that ever gets green peanuts for boiling into their produce department When I came across these, I thought I’d try them . A friend of mine who had never boiled peanuts before purchased some of these and they didn’t seem to come out quite right. However, he did not know that they would probably improve if he soaked them before boiling them. I prepared them just as I would dried beans for cooking. I rinse them and put them in a large pot overnight and soak them for at least 24 hours then I cooked them as I normally would any green peanuts. They came out fine. I got no complaints from professional boil peanut eaters. It’s good to know that I can get them almost anytime. I want as dried peanuts and just soak them ahead of time. Even if they’re just a little bit less tasty or have a different texture than fresh green peanuts, at least they’re available when you want them and you don’t have to worry about cooking them before they dry out

Mold spots, not good for boiling!
Got a 10 pound bag/box. Label as good for boiling but are not. Most of the bag had mold spots on them. I have gotten both the Jumbo and the regular size peanuts and they are all the same inconsistent sizes. Other than mold spots, lots of bad ones and lots one that were broken.

Great texture and taste and it’s up to the individual about the crunchiness of the peanuts itself
It could be an experiment for some to get the peanuts to your desirable taste and texture best know that you will have to pre soak the peanuts before your desired method of cooking whether it be pressure cooking or standard crockpot or big pot but also depends on whether you go Cajun or plain boil it’s always a taste by you to determine but the peanuts are great and love the jumbo’s .
