Why can't I find what the salt looks like? There are no photos of the actual grain size or color..

Thanks for your interest in Baja Gold! Baja Gold is an unrefined sea salt with no processing or 'bleaching.' It has an off-white color that can appear beige or light gray. Our 'Fine Grind' is milled to our smallest grain size and has a flour-like consistency. Our 'Natural Grain' is screened for a larger grain crystal. The 'Fine Grind' is excellent for finishing and seasoning, while the 'Natural Grain' is often preferred for cooking. Thanks!

Thank you for your question! Baja Gold is created in an inland lagoon located in a remote and pristine estuary on the Sea of Cortez in Baja, Mexico. One of the most biologically diverse and mineral-rich bodies of water on earth, the Sea of Cortez remains clean and industry-free. For many thousands of years, the Colorado River flowed into the Sea of Cortez bringing fresh water, mineral-rich topsoil, and minerals from the Rocky Mountains. This region is also located on top of tectonic fault lines, which create openings at the bottom of the Sea and allow rare earth elements to flow into the waters. These factors create a unique, mineral-rich ocean water unlike ocean water from other parts of the world.
