Chair Exercises to be a Fit Senior
I've been an exercise enthusiast for many years. As I get older, it's no longer about impact, but it's more about movement, flexibility, and strength. The book is simple and easy to follow . There's s low impact cardio exercises, yoga, and strength training using a chair. 20-minute routines are all you need. The exercise log was a little bonus. I'm 59, and I see myself doing these exercises for many years to come.

Great Reference Book!
This book not only shows the exercises but also gives a review of how the body changes as it ages and how exercise can slow down some of the changes. The author recommends 150 minutes of exercise per week divided into shorter sessions. There are seated cardio, yoga, core and strength training exercises listed that are easy to follow. The author puts together some 20-minute routines or you can create your own. This is a great reference book to begin an exercise routine!

Age Is Just a Number!
I loved this book - I have read chair exercise books before, but this one stood out amongst the others, and I have used it every day since I bought it. It includes the science of aging, which was eye opening for me. It explains so much.But the exercises are perfect. Yoga, cardio, strength exercises - sections and exercises for any type you need. But my favorite chapter is the section on 20 minute exercises - everyone has time for a 20 minute routine!Examples of seniors breaking records are included at the end of each chapter - fun to read and also very encouraging!There is a logbook included to keep up with your routines and progress.I recommend this book for seniors, those with physical limitations, and anyone, really, if it gets you exercising!

Another great book on chair yoga-- while this is aimed at seniors, this is great for anyone that has limited mobility and wants to keep active in a low impact way.As one ages, or even if you have medical conditions that limit mobility-- this book has low impact routines that are designed with you in mind.Of course, yoga is good for everyone so any novice looking to start small, this is good for you too.One of the best parts of yoga-- it's free to start, and there is something for every level of practitioner.

My new go to for exercise!
I am unable to do a lot of movements due to back issues, this simple and easy guide is helping me reclaim some mobility! I love the diagrams and how thorough all the moves are explained! If you need more flexibility and exercise in your life but feel that you can't, you can with this book!
