Diced Ham, 5 oz. Cans (Pack of 12)

I don't get the negative reviews. After reading them (after I had purchased, but not used this product) I was expecting something awful. These little guys are great! They taste just like they were freshly cut from a recently cooked ham, but not nearly as greasy or salty. The smoky flavor is there, but not overdone. The size is so versatile. Throw this in soup or any salad. Make a ham salad sandwich. Top devilled eggs with them. Would be perfect in an omelet or a casserole. I will keep these on my shelves as long as they are available.

I had always bought the Hormel canned ham, but my supermarket decided to stop carrying it. The price for Hormel here is outrageous, so I decided to give this a try. This product is actually more convenient than Hormel, and for the price you can't beat it. The product is packed with a lot of water, but there is between 3-1/2 to 4 ounces of meat in each can, so it's still a great value. Since the product is diced, it is extremely easy to add it to eggs, pasta or any other dish. I'm a convert and will be buying the product again.

The can was relatively full the taste not too bad the cubes are about 3/8 inch just a little problem getting them to stay in my sandwich. Kind of like a jelly bean sandwich lots of loose pieces. If you were putting them in a soup or casserole no problem at all. I actually prefer the Hormel canned ham but this is half the price of the Hormel. Definitely a good value.

This canned ham pieces are very good. Package came very well wrapped and the order was excellent. No problem with this order at all. I've ordered this before and ordered it again as I use it in a lot of different recipes. It is an excellent product.

Like the fact that I can't waste meat cause they are the perfect size for breakfast. And other meals.just enough for two people. It.s nice that I can buy in bulk and the price was very low for 12 cans. Will be buying more.

I personally did not like this product. Maybe it was the texture? Not sure really, just wasn't for me. So I passed it on to my elderly mother, and she, in turn, shared it with her also elderly friends. Well, they all love this product! So maybe it's generational thing. So the reason for my 3 star review is that I didn't like it, but her and her friends love them.

I have been using this product for approximately 10 years. You can use it in a variety of things I love to make my split pea soup with it and sometimes also smash it up and make an omelette with it too.

I had hoped that this product would be similar to tinned chicken or tuna in that I could make a ham salad type sandwich from it. It was mushy, salty and horrible! Much much worse than spam (which I actually like). I gave it to a charity and feel terrible that some poor homeless person may end up eating this really horrible product! If there was a subzero option for the rating I would have done that! Wouldn't' even feed it to the feral cats in my hills! WOW Hormel, who uses this nastiness?
