LorAnn Oils Flavoring, Pineapple Flavor, 1 oz L0240-2

I have been using LorAnn Emulsions for about 5 years now for my annual biscotti baking for the holidays. Unlike alcohol based extracts, LorAnn's Emulsions hold their flavor after baking (twice Baking with biscotti). When flavoring chocolate, an oil or alcohol based extract works best, so when I made a new biscotti flavor this year, Pina Colada, I purchased LorAnn's Pineapple Emulsion for the cookie and their Super Strength Extract to flavor the white chocolate drizzle on top of the cookie. It was my first time using a super strength flavoring. Like with adding any flavor, I started with 1/2 tsp and added more as needed, tasting in between. The Pineapple flavoring was spot on for both the cookie and chocolate. No funny after taste. LorAnn makes outstanding flavorings at an affordable price. I highly recommend them for baking. Here's a list of the flavors (in addition to pineapple) that I've personally used and give 5 stars - Almond, Hazelnut, Lemon, Orange, Cherry, Pistachio and Maple.

Purchases this product to use for a favorite recipe Pineapple Upside down cake for my husbands birthday cake that I make every year and let me tell you this cake was the best I ever made. A rich pineapple flavor without any after taste. Have keep my husband away from the cake, he loved it so much. You only need 1/4 teaspoon - 1/2 teaspoon as not to over power any cake and that is exactly what I used; 1/4 teaspoon for the butter and pineapple sauce for the bottom of the cake pan, and 1/2 teaspoon in the cake mix. Already have another bottle in my cart for my next purchase.

I love this LorAnn Pineapple flavor! It’s super delicious, but in smell and in baked goods. I got it to make keto Hawaiian rolls, and it’s just the thing. My rolls turned out so nicely. I admit I balked a little at the price, mostly because I was getting the bottle for just one recipe and had no idea what else I could use it for, but I’m glad now that I went for it. I’ll be making the rolls again for sure, and I hope that I will find other low carb goodies to use this in as well. I’m thinking this could also be used in drinks or a drop or so in smoothies as well. I’ll have to search around for some more recipes. This sure is good though. Highly recommend!
