After my fantastic experience with Elegoo's black filament, I moved on to their Rapid PLA+ in Grey for some product testing, and my high opinion of the brand remains firmly intact. I am, once again, thoroughly impressed. True to Elegoo's reputation, the consistency between their products is remarkable. This grey filament prints with the exact same flawless performance as the standard black PLA+. The spool winding is perfect, extrusion is buttery smooth, and the layer adhesion is excellent, resulting in strong, clean prints. If you have settings dialled in for one of their PLA+ filaments, you can expect to use them here with little to no adjustment. I have been using this specific filament for iterating on new designs and prototypes, and it has proven to be the perfect choice. As a "Rapid" PLA, it handles high-speed printing exceptionally well, allowing for much faster turnaround times on test parts without sacrificing surface quality or dimensional accuracy. The neutral grey colour is ideal for this purpose, as it does a brilliant job of highlighting surface details, shadows, and any potential imperfections, making it easy to inspect and evaluate each version. In conclusion, the Elegoo Rapid PLA+ Grey is another home run. It delivers the reliable, high-quality performance I now expect as standard from Elegoo, with the added bonus of being optimised for speed. For anyone needing a dependable filament for prototyping, development, or simply fast, everyday printing, this is an easy recommendation.

This pla+ filament is easy to print with! Reliable quality and I have only experienced very limited warping of prints, but this was exclusively down to me dialing in bed/nozzle temps and cooling fan speeds. The same can be said for stringing, I went with the recommended settings for my printer and have not experienced any stringing. The material is an excellent choice for balancing durability with functionality. It prints a nice matte finish that will accept priming with minimal keying. Brilliant functional elation filament with excellent value buying in this pack size.

Excellent filament, prints easily with standard profile settings on my Bambu Labs A1. Prints fast too and with great quality with no stringing or blobs. I have printed a few things now with no problems at all. Excellent bed adhesion on standard textured build plate.

The ELEGOO Rapid PLA Plus Filament is solid stuff. Prints come out smooth and consistent, with good layer adhesion and minimal stringing. It’s reliable for a variety of projects and works well with standard 3D printers. However, the cardboard spools are a bit of a pain if you’re using a Bambu Lab AMS. They don’t feed as smoothly, and the spool edges can get worn down, causing occasional feed issues. Not a dealbreaker if you’re using a standard spool holder, but definitely something to keep in mind for AMS setups. Overall, the filament quality is great, but the spool design could be better for those with automated systems. Four stars. Excellent filament, but the spool choice might need a rethink for AMS users.

Absolutely amazing. Cheap and great quality prints very well had no issues and been using this brand for months it prints strong and smooth and sticks the to plate well. When I first bought this brand I thought I was gonna see some downsides as it’s cheaper than most brands like Creality however I haven’t seen a single downside. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a cheaper filament.

Ich habe kürzlich das ELEGOO High Speed PLA+ Filament in Gelb ausprobiert und bin absolut begeistert! Das Filament lässt sich äußerst sauber drucken und liefert eine beeindruckende Oberflächenqualität, selbst bei Geschwindigkeiten von über 400 mm/s. Ich habe mit einer Drucktemperatur von 225 Grad und einer Bett-Temperatur von 60 Grad gearbeitet, und die Ergebnisse waren durchweg hervorragend. Die Drucke sehen nicht nur toll aus, sondern sind auch stabil und präzise. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist der Preis – für die Qualität, die man erhält, ist er mehr als fair. Auch die Wicklung der Spule ist 1A, was das Handling und die Verwendung des Filaments sehr angenehm macht. Insgesamt kann ich das ELEGOO High Speed PLA+ Filament jedem empfehlen, der auf der Suche nach einem zuverlässigen und qualitativ hochwertigen Filament ist. Ich bin mehr als zufrieden und werde definitiv wieder darauf zurückgreifen!
