Just a hint of grapefruit and very delicious. This liquid death is one of our favorites. It is refreshing and bubbly. Highly recommend if you’re a liquid death fan and haven’t tried it yet.

I love the death grapefruit sparkling water. Not a really strong flavor. Just enough. I also love slaughter berry and the blueberry flavors!

I have been a fan of Liquid Death as a brand since I saw their first promo video in like 2017. Then around 2019/2020, I found a can at a store for the first time and even though it’s just water, it tasted better than any bottled water I’ve ever had. Maybe it was because it stayed colder longer due to being in a metal can, maybe it was just in my head or maybe it really is better. Which reason is true I don’t care and decided it was going to be my go to beverage. Then the flavors came out. Grapefruit, Lime, Watermelon, Orange and Cherry. All sooo good!!!! Then in the Spring of 2025, it all went to hell. As if the switching to the majority of the cases I was buying from 19oz cans to 12oz wasn’t bad enough, they decided to add Stevia to their drinks instead of regular sugar. The taste difference INSTANTLY hit me. I hated it. Apparently I wasn’t the only one because there was a storm brewing online with people hating all over them. I wish they would have made it into a lite or a diet version. Idk. Think of something but don’t ruin a great thing. Thankfully there is a way to tell if you find the cans out in the wild. Next to the bar code, if you see “BALL” you know it’s one of the good ones and definitely should buy it. Take a look at the pictures of the Gravefruit cans I bought. These are still available on Amazon as of January 2026 so thankfully not all hope is lost.

Flavors were sooooo much better when they were using agave nectar for their sweetener. Since they've switched over to Stevia and other artificial sweeteners the flavor is, in my opinion, AWFUL and nowhere near what it used to taste like with agave nectar. Really disappointed as I have bought Liquid Death religiously for over a year as I loved their flavors and the low sugar was healthier for me, can't stand the flavor now tho so will have to find another sparkling water. :(
