Bought for a SXS GPS
I use this in my Yamaha RMAX2 for GPS maps while riding. The military rated dustproof, waterproof and shock proof qualities were the first features that got me. I put a 1 TB micro SD card in it and can record all my routes and maps, as well as throw a ton of mp3s on there for areas where even the SXS's FM radio wont pick up. I thought this would be more useful than a GPS-specific unit and I wasn't wrong. I haven't submerged it or washed the SXS with it mounted in it to test it's waterproof rating, no sense in tempting fate since this is my personal tablet and not a "test review".Also I work as a construction inspector and when I need to pay for a repair area I can take a pic with the camera and use the stylus to write the dimensions for the area on the picture. Then use Samsung Notes to complete the report and add the pic, and upload as a pdf file. I opted for the non-cellular version, choosing to use my phone's wifi hotspot when needed which is rarely. I have also used it to zoom in on a pdf plan detail and take a screenshot, write a note on the screenshot and send it to the contractor, and screenshot specifications for the contractor related to whatever work they're performing. I upload them to a Google Drive folder so anyone I send a link will have access.I like the fingerprint reader and the glove-sensitive touch display but my only gripe would be the screen looks smallish since it doesn't go end to end, corner to corner like a cell phone. A 10 inch would have probably been nicer in that regard but I don't think it would fit in the mount on the SXS and would probably be too big to tote around on the jobsite without worrying about dropping it all the time. This will slip right in my inside coat pocket. Overall I would recommend this tablet, I've found it very useful.

Field Tab
Great as a field tablet, I bought this to use with Esri Field Maps for GIS data collection. The GPS receiver is decent enough, but if you need more that 9-12ft accuracy at best you'll need some extra gear.

Double trouble
1st Refund - watch out if you want to use the 5g version outside US region it won't work if you try to add a sim card.2nd Refund - after purchasing the Wi-Fi version only they sent me a 6gb of ram instead of 8gb of ram as advertisedThe tablet is solid as the battery Life but ill purshase ill take my 3rd chance at another seller.

Caution: Here's the specs for the 3G, 4G, & 5G bands covered by this USA version of the device
The seller (Amazon) didn't post the specifications for the 3G, 4G, & 5G bands covered by this USA version of the device. The manufacturer (Samsung) has dead links on their website for the data sheet containing the specifications for the 3G, 4G, & 5G bands covered by this USA version of the device. The manufacturer's (Samsung's) USA support argued with me for 1.5-hours on chat before eventually giving me an alternate link that had the correct data sheet. Then the seller (Amazon) rejected my previous review. Probably because I included the manufacturer's (Samsung's) alternate link to the their webpage that had the data sheet for the USA version of this device (showing the specifications for the 3G, 4G, & 5G bands covered by this USA version of the device).I won't try to provide the link here again for fear that the seller (Amazon) will reject my review again.I saved $150 buying the USA version of this device from this seller (Amazon). But for my situation, I probably wouldn't do that again. The time I spent trying to get this information cost me more than two hours in total, and even 30-minutes of time lost trying to get this basic technical information would have been too much. There is an easier way. I usually buy the international versions of these devices for various reasons. Even though the international versions cost more, they usually travel better (have better coverage of bands more appropriate for traveling), and it's generally easier to get the specifications from the manufacturer (Samsung) websites in the UK, Singapore, Hong Kong, etc, (but not Korea, because that website doesn't have any English option). So as usual the hardware is solid, but I probably wouldn't buy this device (a USA version), made by this manufacturer (Samsung), from this seller (Amazon) again.I do however successfully buy less complex items from this seller (Amazon). The bands listed on the 2024 Samsung Electronics America, Inc. provided data sheet are:3G UMTS:B1 (2100),B2 (1900),B4 (AWS),B5 (850),B8 (900);4G LTD FDD:B1 (2100),B2 (1900),B3 (1800),B4 (AWS),B5 (850),B7 (2600),B8 (900),B12 (700),B13 (700),B14 (700),B20 (800),B25 (1900),B26 (850),B28 (700),B29 (700),B30 (2300),B66 (AWS-3),B71 (600);4G LTE TDD:B40 (2300),B41 (2500),B48 (3600);5G Sub6 FDD:N2 (1900),N5 (850),N12 (700),N25 (1900),N30 (2300),N66 (AWS-3),N71 (600);5G Sub6 TDD:N41 (2500),N48 (3500),N77 (3700),N78 (3500)

Best Rugged Tablet You can get
I bought this tablet as I work on ships as a maritime officer. This tablet not only allows me to do my normal tasks on deck with ease; in harsh and ever changing conditions (rough seas, drops to the steel deck, freezing temps some month and well over 100 degrees in others). As well as enjoy a movie on it in my rack after a long day. The microSD card slot has helped immensely with this as I expanded it with a 512gb microSD card. When I'm not on board I enjoy offroading, camping, and hanging at the beach or pool. This tablet tackles it all. I use it for onX mapping offroad, movies and weather updates while camping, and music and reading at the pool or beach. The AMOLED screen is fantastic in bright light but gets din enough to not disturb the peace of a campsite when checking the weather radar. As a samsung phone user this thing is just a large secondary phone, which is nice to have as a backup when I'm off the grid or at sea.The drawback is performance. It's not as fast as my S24 Ultra. But I would never expect it to be. I can use and abuse this tablet without fear, and that's the tradeoff.I do wish samsung made one with the snapdragon chupset found in the new S10, but again the tradeoff is the amazing rugged build.I bought this because I couldn't wait for an iPad mini, and after Apple finally delivered I'm glad I didn't. Expandable storage. Swappable battery (a second battery is only $60). After using this tablet for 3 months it convinced me to actually ditch Apple products all together.
