Hi, the fans that I have fitted have always been quiet running. The type of wall they are built into can make them noisy. eg a solid brick wall will make the fan very quiet while a studded or prefab type wall may cause the fan to be a bit noisier. Hope this helps. T

the pipe extension to the fan is maximum 25/30 mm,more than enough to penetrate thro’ the ceiling board and into ventilation ducting
