100/100It’s hard to explain, I know. This item is such a niche thing . . . Personally I use it as a coffee table runner during the “mardi gras”/carnival season. I have a lot of NOLA references since we’re in Louisiana and it represents a little of this and a little of that from carnival in NOLA. The “thatch” and coconuts, etc. is a reference to the Zulu parade.The thatch runner itself come tightly rolled and wrapped so it is beautiful when unrolled. Like all products, it take a day or two to “relax” and lay properly so patience is a virtue. Don’t expect perfection 20 minutes after opening it. The construction is good and with care, this could last several seasons.I’m sure there are myriad other uses and this should work fine for those as well.Ultimately, is it worth the price? It’s a bit pricey, but it’s a nice runner if you need a thatch runner.

I am decorating for a jungle theme and came across this and thought this would be a great touch. I mostly like it. It's actually kind of heavy because of the thickness of the mat the "thatch" is adhered to. It seems pretty sturdy. It says in the product description that it is plastic, which is accurate, but the pictures at least make it look matte. I was very surprised that it is SO shiny. From a distance, it might be okay, but up close, it looks like shredded plastic. I think it will work for outdoors; it should be weatherproof. Just be adviser that it is not as authentic looking up close as the pictures make it appear.

We have a beach house where we have a tiki hut and needed some extra thatch; this table runner is exactly what we needed to make it look awesome. It looks very realistic and the nice thing, is it is weatherproof. I will be ordering another one. This is a fraction of the cost than what a real one costs. I would highly recommend it.

This artificial thatch is much more realistic than some others that I have ordered in the past.It fluffs up well.There are straight strips and curly bits of different sizes, which creates a fairly natural look.It is durable and works great as camouflage material for outdoor sports.I would order it again.

This thatch runner comes exactly as it’s described. It does shed a lot. It will look great used for a luau, farm themed birthday party, or a nativity scene, etc.
