Swimbuds Fit Waterproof Headphones and 8 GB SYRYN Waterproof MP3 Player with Shuffle Feature

Small size , good battery life, easy to use. I can hear it quite well underwater (earplugs need to be seated well into ears for good sound). Cost was right and now I use these for lap swims several times a week.for podcasts and music. Just as advertised.

I use this for SUP surfing and might even take up swimming again because it's so much more enjoyable with music. I always wanted to listen to my favorite tunes while paddling or surfing, and this is the perfect answer. The short cord and ear hooks help me keep everything contained either inside of a sun hat while paddling or inside the neck of my wetsuit while surfing.UPDATE: this item has died and been replaced 3 times within the warranty. Great customer service, but they never asked why I was killing these units at such an advanced rate. Because I am now out of warranty I decided to try and protect the unit a bit more because it was clear to me that it was the impact of surfing crashes into water that was exposing the SYRYN to tremendous forces that swimming laps in a pool won't. My simple solution? Wrap it in a plastic baggie with a rubber band ( photo attached). It doesn't prevent water from getting into the bag, but it prevents the forceful entry of water into the SYRYN unit. So far, this has kept the unit alive the longest. Hope this helps others!

I like the waterproof mp3 player however the headphones are the worst. The right earpiece is labeled the for the left ear but only fits the right ear while the left ear piece is labeled for the right ear and only fits the left ear. The right earpiece was not working so I contacted amazon to exchange the item as I may have received a defective item (it happens) but I just received the replacement product and the same thing is happening as well as the mislabeled earpieces. I am disappointed and will be returning.

After trying several others, finally found these waterproof headphones that actually work in a swimming pool. They stay in place even in a flip turn. They occasionally have become unseated in the ear which makes the sound muffled when water gets in, but it’s fixed easily and happens less as I’ve experimented with ear position and how to drape the cord.Sound quality it higher than I expected. They aren’t audiophile quality, but both music and speech are clear and loud.It does take some effort to properly seat the earbuds, especially the first time. For some reason they come packaged with the buds twisted 180 degrees in the ear loops (hence the other review saying they are backwards). They flip right around.The MP3 player is simple but works well, better than several others available on the site at the same price point, but lacks the polish of an iPod.The googles are surprisingly nice, but a bit bulky. They are unlikely to displace your favorite pair, but make a nice backup. They do match the color of the MP3 player well. I haven’t had an opportunity to try the hair gel.Finally, I should mention the first headphones I received had a bad earphone. When I contacted Underwater Audio they were great about first trying to troubleshoot the issue and then, when it became clear the problem was with the headphones, immediately replaced the defective pair. Great service!

I was really hoping to be able to find a waterproof music player to make my time in the pool go by easier. When I found this player, I really think I got lucky!So far, everything has been amazing. The music is clear and it plays beautifully. The earbuds are very secure. I have a weird, narrow ear canal on one of my ears, so it isn't a perfect seal, but I blame my ear for that and no the earbud. This really has helped to keep me on task when I'm swimming.And as an unexpected surprise, the goggles that came with the set are without a doubt the best I've had in ages. I have been through 2 other sets trying to get something that wouldn't fog while I was swimming. These have been the only ones who are consistently clear throughout the entire time in the pool.Overall, I'm thrilled about this purchase. Highly recommended!

I absolutely LOVE this product! It works like a charm to help the time pass quickly during laps and block out any outside unwanted noise at the gym. There were only two issues I had.The first has nothing to do with the unit itself and had everything to do with my inexperienced attempt at iTunes and converting to MP3 format. The actual loading of the music is easy. I haven’t figured out how to convert and load audible yet.The other small issue is I always have is getting music in both ears, please know that after playing with ear bud sizes I realized that size does matter greatly as well as utilizing your goggles to hold the ear buds in place during push off or flip turns.So far I’m really thrilled with this product!

The mp3 is easy to load with the drag and drop feature. The earbuds were surprisingly comfortable and I barely noticed the mp3 player clipped to my goggles. I had to put one of my goggle straps over the top of my ears to lock the headphones in place or they fell out after a wall push. Swam for 45min with no problems, audio was easy to hear. I even have my inner ears pierced with rings and didn't have any problems. I did use the aqua seal gel that it came with.

A swim audio product that works as advertised! Makes swimming long distances enjoyable. Will try to download a book or podcast next. Holds plenty of music, and sound very good. Sometimes fiddle with my right earplug, but think I have it sized correctly now. Sometimes a good song starts playing on my last lap, and I stay in for several more.

Very neat and well designed player. Buttons are easy to find and use. Good battery life so far - I've had the player several months. It's easy to drag and drop music from itunes. You need to convert any aac to mp3, not a problem in iTunes. I find the earbuds a bit tricky to put in, it always takes me several minutes of fiddling to get them properly seated in my ears! Once in, the sound is great, and makes a huge difference to my swimming enjoyment. Highly recommended.

I really disliked the Swimbud Fit headphones that came with this mp3 player - the fiddly bit of memory foam around the ears kept dislodging whilst swimming and pulling out the earpiece. Despite having been used, the company was very helpful in swapping for the normal Swimbuds and even refunded the price difference immediately. Customer service is prompt and helpful. Thank you, I'm very happy with the new headphones!

I found that the ear phones didn’t stay in my ears when I was swimming. The right ear phone doesn’t work.
