Just what I needed
A great little SSD. Perfect for what I need and the speeds are decent. Easy to stuff in my bag and sling around for work.

Super fast SSD
This SSD is super fast. That's the first SSD I purchased to store my videos, videos that I edit ( it uses alot of space! ). For example, when you work on Davinci Resolve, and you have to render huge files, and there is no space on your computer, you render it straight to this SSD, and you are not loosing speed. Also, you can install game in it, and this way you can save space on your computer/laptop. Easy to use, even looks nice, it has rubber protection. Highly recommend, good price as well.

Fast when connected to thunderbolt port, I like the orange bumper, but would prefer if the port cover was attached.

I purchased this Lacie 2 TB SSD external hard drive to back up my Apple computer using Time Machine! It was so fast and so easy to create the back up I’m thrilled with that. I wish there was an 8 TB SSD hard drive just like it —they’re hard to find!

2Tの外付けSSD（11個）に映像データを保存。 念の為、４Tの外付けHDD（5個）と ２Tの外付けHDD（1個）にバックアップしているが、追加や削除を繰り返してるので、 デフラグの代わりに初期化・再コピーで対応。その為、一時保管場所として本製品を購入。 初期化は、これを機に古いMac OS拡張（ジャーナリング）から 最新のAPFS（アップル・ファイル・システム）に全てのSSDとHDDを変更。 良かった点 ・SSDはコピーが速い（HDDの３〜４倍くらい速い） ・発熱が少ない（SSDなのでオレンジのゴムカバー付きでも熱くならない） 気になった点 ・2025年11月購入なのに、届いた製品の製造年が2024年で古い。 ・価格が高い。約40000円。LaCie製品全般で高く感じる。 今回は海外取り寄せでなく在庫ありの為、２日後に届いたので良しとする。 持っている外付けのSSDとHDD全てが、デザインが好きなLaCie製品なので、まぁ満足しています。

I’ve had this for about a week and works seamlessly with my 2023 MacBook Pro via Thunderbolt 4 port. It’s fast and mounts quickly. A definite upgrade from my 5 year old Western Digital. Transferred +200GB directory in minutes.
