Bought a car and the previous owner was a smoker. I did some research and tried to remove the odor with charcoal bags but it made little difference. Further research suggested an ozone generator, so I purchased this one. After two uses at 1 hour per use, the odor has reduced by about 90% - its still there but it is vastly reduced. The rest can be removed via normal cleaning (wetvac seats, deep clean leather, fabric cleaner on headliner).Overall very please with the results. The machine started emitting ozone as soon as it was switched on. Obviously, safety first with this device as it will do you no good to sit in with it as you will suffer from breathing difficulties. Ensure you let the space your are using it in vent properly before using it again.

Great bit of kit.Left it to do my garage and house. Car next on the list.My garage had an awful smell. Even though mopping and mopping. I closed the garage, left the unit on just for 30 minutes. Smell gone!I see people leaving low reviews, but they're clearly not taking on board, the precautions. It states on the unit. "use in unoccupied space only"

Brilliant. The smell was overpowering after a fire but after 2 days of using this machine the smell was completely gone

Faulty after a few weeks use and seller rejected refund

I bought one of these 3 years ago. It’s brilliant to cleanse bacteria that cause smells bout of the air.Have used it to get rid of smoking smell in car, post party fug clearance, and teenager who refuses to open window bedroom cleanse. Hotels etc use these to deep clean.Of course you should not be in room or car when these are running. Plus of course you should then air spaces well before returning. That’s just common sense.
