HELLA H7LL Long Life Bulb, 12V, 55W

Unfortunately, this is a light bulb. When you add power (12 V), it glows and produces light! It fits our Lexus perfectly and works well. Three suggestions: 1- When removing the old bulb, be gentle and use a rag to protect your fingers. The bulb is probably old and could shatter, injuring you when you remove it from the socket. 2- Before installing the new bulb, add some dielectric grease to the contacts 3- Always handle the new bulb with a barrier (rag, paper towel, latex gloves) to prevent body oils from coming into contact with the bulb.

The bulbs seem to last a long time. I like that.

European cars can be expensive to maintain, so you have to save money where you can. This light was quite expensive at the auto parts store. I wasn't sure it would work even though all the markings are identical to the original equipment because it was so much cheaper. But it works perfectly.

Got these installed the other day on my 2010 Subaru Legacy. Getting into the headlight compartment on these is a pain, especially when 15 degrees out. Have to either take down the plastic fender lining and reach around blindly, or remove the bumper and take out the housing. So the mechanic ended up taking care of that haha. They aren't the most bright, but safer than putting LED's in the factory housing. Hopefully these last longer than OEM as my OEM bulbs both went out super super quick. Believe it's pretty common on the 5th gen Legacy/Outbacks. (PS: If you are also having the issue of premature burnout on your Legacy/Outback, don't use the "Auto" headlight feature. Well reported online this is what causes the premature burnout unfortunately.

Supposedly this is the updated part to prevent the short life of the original Promaster headlight bulbs. All four bulbs i ordered arrived undamaged. They appear brighter but that could be due to having one out and both being a few years old. I'll buy again just based on price more than likely.

Swapped 2 bad bulbs with these in 5 minutes. Have lights now. Dealer wanted over $100 to replace

These are good quality bulbs! The light is very bright (White Light)! I hate those blue Tint bulbs because they are not as bright.

Unique serial number on each bulb, no doubt they are real. They look exactly like the kind I removed. Would recommend, these are long life h7 bulbs that are in most OEM cars. They use long life because they last longer then the brighter bulbs, it's a trade off, brighter you go the shorter the life span. Made in Korea.

El par de faros Hella H7 venían como quemados uno mas que el otro, el filamento se veía completo, y en general la estructura se veía completa y bien, sinembargo donde van las soldaduras de los contactos se veían flameadas, no se si ya habían sido usados, al ver esto decidí nisiquiera probarlos y hacer la devolución inmediatamente. Recomiendo antes de instalarlos revisar el filamento y los contactos, desafortunadamente vienen en caja y pueden ser manipulables a diferencia de los que vienen en blister como algunos de los Philips que estan mas protegidos y es dificil que los puedan manipular.
