Love this use it in my home office. Quality sound. My BOSE of 25 years just broke down. Considered buying a new one but read all the 5 star reviews and You Tube videos and for this price point phenomenal sound. Very happy with purchase. Will say that the only thing missing is a remote. This was not that important to me since I use it with my phone so not entirely necessary. But would be an added bonus.

Clear sound separation and decent base response. Not excessively boomy or warm and stereo separation is ok considering how close the drivers are. High's are very lightly attenuated but the sound feels well balanced for most genre's and is a great listening experience. The speaker is nicely weighted and overall exceeds expectations considering the price. Only downside is the below average battery life and material quality could be better.

I have tried quite a few Bluetooth speakers over the past several years. Most of them have exaggerated muffled sounding bass. Vocals are muffled and there is no crispness or clarity in the treble. The Doss Soundbox Ultra is simply amazing! I have it on my nightstand. It plays my music with beautiful fidelity. The 80 watts of power deliver a pleasant overall sound from different sources. I have it set to Bluetooth for my TV. It beats the heck out of several soundbars that I have tried. If you are longing for old school sound quality, grab one of these Doss Soundboxes. For the price, it’s an unbeatable deal!

Although this little box doesn't have HDMI or SPDIF for connecting to a TV, a Fire stick will connect to it very easily over BT. I take a Fire with me when traveling, turns any hotel TV into a full entertainment center. And the DOSS is enough speaker to fill a hotel room with decent sound. No extra cables required, works with even old TVs as long as they have one HDMI input for the Fire stick. Would also be a good option for home bedrooms & kitchens. Better looking than the usual boring black soundbar.

It looks retro. Easy to set up, and sounds amazing for the size. Fills my big room with rich sounds. With the bass enhance on its got just the right amount and the fullrange drivers deliver all the highs and lows. If you are thinking about this speaker get it... you won't regret it. I'm getting another one. This speaker is worth every penny.

I've been using a Sony SRS-X55 for years, and I love it. I wanted to get another one as a gift, but it's no longer available. I did a bit of research, and settled on this little Bose unit. I am a septuagenarian, and so is the recipient of the gift, so we are probably not the best judges of its fidelity. What I can say for certain is that it sounds great to us! The unit is compact, and it isn't overly heavy. It's got plenty of volume. Charge it, turn it on, and it works just fine. It's a great gift.

I'm returning it because there is no AC connection. I'm sick of this charge the battery crap. I own a Model No. DOSS SoundBox XL and it plugs into the wall outlet. I purchased it in 2021 and now I can't find it anywhere. The same model number now comes with a battery. Too bad.

This speaker has a stylish look but it lacks the deep bass sound that it advertised.
