(Update: 08/08/17)I received my second (complimentary) pair of 4EST shade glasses four days ago and WOW!!!! They are absolutely amazing! I love the color and love the lenses. Although this pair fits a little differently, they still fit well and look great on me. This is a 5-star pair, for sure. Additionally, I am happy to say that the first pair I received is growing on me more and more everyday. I still don't LOVE them, but I do like them and feel they are a great value.Due to the AMAZING customer service 4EST provided me and how satisfied I am with the second pair of glasses I received, I feel compelled to change my review to 5-stars. I should note that 4EST DID NOT ask me to change this review. They actually told me they weren't concerned with that at all... that as long as I was satisfied, they would be satisfied as well. It's not everyday that you hear this from a company, and I can unequivocally say that they've earned my repeat business when it comes to sunglasses!(Update: 08/03/17)Within 12 hours of posting my initial 3-star review, I received an email from 4EST Shades. They invited me to explain what issues I was having with my glasses and what, if anything, they could do to earn my satisfaction. They mentioned how much they appreciated my honest review and wanted to ensure me that their goal is to earn my full satisfaction. They even told me that they weren't concerned whether I changed my review... they just wanted me to be happy with my purchase. This is what incredible customer service looks like, folks.After explaining the issues I had with my glasses (all of which are listed below in my initial review), the representative (Karissa) apologized and assured me this was an isolated incident. She asked if I would be interested in keeping my current pair and picking out another pair on them, and she sent me a PDF sheet showing their full offering of glasses. I ended up picking a different finish (Brown Maple) with the smoke black lenses. Within 30 minutes, she had emailed me back to let me know they were rush shipping them to me and I should receive them in 2 days.Obviously my 3-star review of the product itself will stand for now... but, given their 5-star customer service, I feel compelled to increase the overall review to 4-stars. Additionally, I consider myself an open-minded person, and I'm big on giving second chances. That said, I will update this review again once I receive the second pair of glasses and have an opportunity to test them out for a week or so. Also, I think it's important to note that the 2nd pair of glasses I chose has an almost perfect 5-star review here on Amazon. With that in mind, I'm excited to receive them and will provide an honest review in return.Lastly, I hope this review will not dissuade people from purchasing glasses from this truly amazing company. They've gone above and beyond to satisfy me, and that's quite rare these days.____________________________________________I've been wanting a pair of real wood sunglasses for a while, so I was excited to purchase these... especially considering the sub $40 price. Seemed like a great deal!The Good:I've had them a week now and, initially, I really liked them. The dark wood color is great and the design work on the arms are quite nice. Also, the glasses are fairly lightweight and the spring hinges on the arms can "flex" farther out to fit wider faces, which is a nice touch.The Bad:My biggest problem with these glasses are the quality of the lenses. Although they are polarized, the lenses make everything look dark. Many people may view that as a positive but, in my opinion, the lenses filter much more than sunlight. They seem to distort everything I look at. Nothing is clear or vivid.The Ugly:I've taken meticulous care of these glasses thus far. I haven't dropped them, set them down hard, or done anything that could even potentially damage them. However, a few days ago, I noticed that some of the dark wood finish was rubbing off the top of the frames. Not a huge problem (yet) but I suppose you get the quality you pay for.Considering all this, I gave them 3 stars for now. They seem be worth the money, but don't expect super high quality lenses or materials.

I fought myself for over a week trying not to buy these. I contacted the company on facebook to answer questions and they were SO helpful! They discussed different style options and colors with me for almost an hour! Such great and welcoming people. The actual product is even better! These glasses float people! Last year I lost a 100$ pair of glasses while floating down the river,which is why I bought these! They float,they are beautiful (I constantly get compliments on them) they are real wood, not heavy and fit my small face wonderfully(but fit my husbands big face just as nicely!). Don't second guess it,just buy them! I bought 2pairs right away, waited a couple months for trial before reviewing and I will be buying pairs for guests to use when they come to our river house to float and swim(not as cool as it sounds I'm only 29,this is my actual regular residence.) They come in a great box that i re used for work pens,cleaning cloth and carrying bag. I keep one pair in the bag when not in use and the other just sits in my car seat,which they have gotten tossed around a lot and not even one scratch.BEST OF ALL THEY ARE POLARIZED, best glasses ever for the adventurer going hiking,floating,kyaking or anything outdoors. I love these sunglasses! They are quite well made and sturdy feeling, and hold up pretty well to dropping and wear and tear. Being polarized is a huge plus as well, and they are very good at blocking out the sunlight while driving or doing anything really. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is, although the spring-loaded outward flex on the arms is nice to help fit larger heads (like mine) and prevent accidental breaking, the springs themselves aren’t very strong and the glasses tend to slip off your head If you’ve got them propped up on top, or if you make too sudden of a movement. All in all, I’ll probably get more of these!

I find that I often get a little pain over/behind my ears when I have glasses on all day - like a long road trip or beach day. Not enough to do anything about it, just a little discomfort. These are so lightweight that I've not had that happen at all (8-hour road trip yesterday). I love to wood-grain look of the bamboo and getting polarized lenses in nice-looking frames that fit for this price is insane. The lenses are not the absolute best quality out there (and when I emailed them about an issue, they sent me a brand new free pair for my troubles immediately), but for $30? Pretty darn good.I was a little concerned that the 4EST logo on the side would be very bright and noticeable and it's not at all. I'm not a big flashy logo guy, so this was good.I actually bought two other similar pairs on Amazon the same day and these were the best overall. Lenses were all comparable. The fit, feel and look of these was the best.Saving the planet a tiny bit doesn't hurt, either.

J'ai commandé ces lunettes soleil puisque mon copain fait du paddleboard et comme il a perdu ses lunettes dans l'eau, j'en voulais qui flottent ! Je les ai testé et elle flotte pour de vrai. La monture à l'air très solide et les verres sont intactes et polarisés. Le produit vient avec un étuis à lunettes en bois super léger, une autre étuis en tissus et un mouchoir pour laver les lunettes. Super cadeau de Noël, j'ai hâte de lui donné.

Expensive and I am sure, this is not value for money product

Love these. Wear them all the time now. Light. Well made. Protect my eyes. Awesome.

Super lightweight, comfortable and love the style

I wear them almost everyday. I have bought 2 pairs. 4EST customer service is a joke. That is the reason for 1 star
