Very quiet even on higher settings and performs better than other brands I’ve tried. Air quality improvement is noticeable and overall build quality feels premium. The only downside is that it’s slightly big and heavy, but performance-wise it’s excellent.

Since I have a few Philips air purifiers around the house, I thought I'd get this device to keep my home office space at an ideal temperature in Winter, try to cool it down in Summer and purify the air at the same time... However the humming/buzzing noise (D# note) that it produces at times is rather disturbing. The air purifiers that I have scattered around the house are very quiet and barely audible in sleep/night mode. This device however isn't. Maybe I'm just a little sensitive to noise when I'm trying to work, but it's enough for me to debate returning the item. The functionality is great though... It warms up a room really quickly, as a fan it seems to work pretty well too and it features the same type of NanoProtect filter than my other devices. The remote is not the snappiest or most responsive but it's good enough.

Very effective and quiet operation. The finish could be a bit more premium for the price. The app is fantastic and very easy to set up.

Update after owning just over a year, 2 summers. My most regretted purchase, I should have returned this. Poor as a fan, decent as a heater. Cannot stay connected to WiFi, controls on the unit itself are poor (unresponsive, indecipherable) the remote is near useless (needs to be pointed seemingly within a ngats width of the sensor - useless when oscillating!). Overall terrible, I hate it so much. As much as I despise Dyson as a company, and it's leadership, just buy their fan instead. ---- Had this just over 2 months. Doesn't stay connected to the app, periodically just becomes unresponsive and has to be reset + re-linked to the app, which is sometimes simple and just works, sometimes needs to be done many times or reinstalling the app, big hassle for something I should not need to do. I've given up on the app, but even the remote is such poor quality it seems to need a direct line of sight and even then it's hit and miss. The fan itself is ok. Heating actually better than anything else, works really well. The circulation is nice and if the numbers are to be believed then it does a nice job of filtering some of the particulates from the air. As a fan it's ok but not great, the small version of the Dyson seems to cool the space better. I like that it can oscillate 350. It's a fan which shows the temperature on screen - but it does not expose the temperature to Alexa/Google Home so it's not possible to say "if the temp is above x then turn on the fan". It does expose the humidity though! Bizarre! Not that it matters since it won't stay connected anyway. Honestly from Phillips they should be embarrassed, quality is more what you'd expect from something unbranded and 1/4 of the price, feels like it's a work in progress not ready to hit the shelves. App very frustrating. Not worth the money. I regret buying this, I'm not sure what to recommend instead :(

Purchased for my wife as she has asthma problems. Pros: cleans really good 8/10, app works ok but... 7/10, nice shape 9/10. Cons: once Ur changing from cold to warm or opposite way the shell gives tension and knocking noises means poor construction, quite big so u need designed space, heats slowly, small problems with remote control (I've tried it, app works faster). Generally 7/10: pretty good but like for me works great only @ 15sqm / 45m3 rooms, bigger ones can't be operated well. Once u purchase put circulation on turbo mode, leave room and let the device clean it up.
