Nice little DIY unit for power
Does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Seems to be well made. I didn’t have any issues with wires or connections. The big gray connectors on them are solid enough and fit like they’re supposed to. Going to say that the gold qualities is bad because it’s not but it does have that battery box kind of feel to it but then again that’s sort of what it is. It would be nicer if it had a few more USB ports since these days fewer and fewer devices are using the sockets, but you can always use a USB adapter in one of the socket ports to add more. The fuses definitely give you a sense of security and it seems to work exactly how it’s supposed to. I’ve connected it to an actual battery box as well as the vehicle to supply power and it work quite well. I haven’t messed a lot with the DIY area but it’s nice to know it’s there. Everything else works pretty well. I guess it’s limited to about 50 A because those are the connector limitations. I don’t think I’ll run anything near that through it. That would make me a little nervous but it’s definitely handy to have on a boat or a campsite to get power out to your devices. There’s also a little voltmeter that’s handy. I’ve been running out on 12 V. I haven’t tried 24 because my system is 12 but so far I’m happy with it and it does exactly what it’s supposed to do.
