Well made product, good machine work.

The brass color is more yellow than other gate valves I have used. I cannot comment on the brass percentage used in this assembly, but it doesn't feel/ appear like full brass. The threads are clean and well machined, and the mechanism opens and closes in a smooth manner. The price is much cheaper than comparable brass gate valves in my local market, so I hope this lasts for years.

I'm using this valve to fine tune the airflow in my propane forge.

I got this valve to use as a fill valve on my hydronic heating system in my shop. The original design leaves me pouring water in the pressure relief valve, which isn't designed to open very far and make filling the system take several hours waiting for the water to trickle in. I added a 1-1/4" tee at the highest point in the system, and will use this valve to add water as needed to keep the system topped up. This will work so much better than I have been doing it previously.This valve is really well made, the threads mate perfectly with the pipe I'm threading it into. The handle is easy to open / close. Very nice valve!

I used this to replace the leaking valve under my kitchen sink. It was pretty outdated, and so water drops were falling every minute or so. This one looks pretty sturdy, and I like that it shows which direction you need to turn to open or close because my old one didn't have it, and I often forgot which direction to turn it. After I got this replaced, I've had no leaks so far, so I'm happy with it. It might not be the most aesthetic option out there, but I think it will keep things leak-free.

The media could not be loaded.  So I'll start with the negative. The area that closes and opens inside the valve is just above 1 and 1/4 inches on a 2 inch valve. I know valves are restrictive in the first place but that seems excessive. The quality of the valve is brass Construction so it seems like it will work nicely. Even though this is restrictive I believe it will still work for my application. But it's something to note before buying. See my video for a better view.

The valve, stem, and gate are all Brass. Machining of the cast appears flawless. NPT threads are sharp but smooth. The badge is aluminum, handle nut is stainless and has a nylon lock, the handle is cast zinc and nicely painted red. This is just a simple gate valve with what seems to be quality material and workmanship.I'd buy it again for sure since the price is reasonable and you get some PTFE tape to make a no-leak seal.Awesome.

Not much to say about it -- It's just a nice valve.
