How to make it last!
These things don't seem to be pure brass, but for $20 I got what I expected, electroplated god knows what pot metal maybe? I know if it ever breaks. No complaints because it works great for my Toy Hauler and RV.Pro-tips on how to get it to last:1. You want to create a seal so do not overtighten the heck out of these things and crush the o-ring until it gets cut apart by the metal and then leaks. Get a nice strong seal, may a quarter to half turn past finger tight if you have good strong hands. More than that will cause it to leak. No need to Magilla Gorilla the darn thing.2. Put some o-ring silicon lubricant or grease or oil on the o-rings before your first install. This will ensure you get a good seal and no leaks. Mine so far have not leaked on either my RV or my Toy Hauler. If you are installing this onto your fresh water source for an RV like I did, get some food grade lubricant like they use on SCUBA gear or filtered water machines etc. Better to be safe than sorry. There is so little that there shouldn't be an issue but no need to take a chance if you might ingest it in any way. Remember there are two o-rings: One at the house inlet and one where the spool is under the cap.3. As other suggestions have said, if yours does leak because you over tightened it, or the o-ring cracked over time because you didn't lube it, or something like that, you can use plumbers tape and that works, but really this is a last resort IMHO and I have never had to use plumbers tape with these so far but it is a fall back.4. If you are pulling in hard water or water with sediment make sure to run clean the spool out every once in a while. You can always put it behind a filter, but if the pressure is too much you could damage the filter you have to put it in front of the filter.Last Pro-Tip: The gauge is only an estimate. I have found it isn't quite as accurate as I'd like, but in general its close enough for regulating water at an RV or Motorcycle Park or camp ground or the like. If you need exact, this isn't the one.

Perfect...
I have been using a small in-line regulator, and was fed up with water volume, just plain hated taking a shower and limited water. So I seeen this unit, and came in today, I couldn't wait to hook it up this eve.First say heavy unit, like its 100% brass, I didn't scratch to verify, but its not aluminum, well put it in-line preset in the gauge shows 40 psi, so go in and bleed the air out of the lines, and got 3x the volume, everywhere, not about pressure, as this feed its over 70 psi and blow lines apart, its about volume and this works fantastically. Can't wait to get a shower this eve now.....Thank You, time will tell if it holds up, and the liquid filled gauge is a nice touch.....

Product failed, no way to contact seller
The regulator worked fine for the first couple of months, then I attempted to adjust the water pressure and I was unable to. I couldn't increase or decrease the pressure, no matter how much I adjusted the pressure adjustment control. The included paperwork states it is warranted for a full year and for any issues to email the company for a replacement, but there is no email address, no nothing for contact information.
