I have stoppers. They work GREAT as a stopper but the catcher part was less than desired. I am without a garbage disposal for the first time in a long time and was so frustrated by having to clean out the drain all the time. I found these 3 pack catchers. Even though I only need 2 for my double sink, I thought maybe, just maybe one would work in my tub. (same issue, good stopper, terrible catcher) The reviews varied from 'it works in a tub' to 'you need a smaller one for the tub'. I figured I had nothing to lose since I had an extra. First of all, the strainer for the kitchen sink fits perfectly, looks clean and neat and already catches way more than my stopper did. I can see it'll be much easier to clean as well and it looks much more streamlined in my sinks. The others were always a bit lopsided when they weren't set to the 'stop' position. So, then, I decided to try the bathtub drain. And no, it did NOT fit inside my drain. HOWEVER, I figured I'd try putting it upside down to see if that would work. It looked good, not a tight fit but when I ran the tub, the water didn't move it out of place. How much hair will it catch and how will it hold up while I'm in the shower? I am not sure. For that reason, I am not saying that I recommend it. But if you are ordering the 3 pack, and only need 2, maybe you can try it as well. (see photos of sink and tub.)

This has got to be one of the best sink strainers I've ever owned. The holes are perfectly spaced, nothing gets through that shouldn't, no clogs, it stays shiny and new looking, improves the sink appearance, fits standard kitchen sink openings, is super easy to clean (tap in the trash, rinse, swipe and go). Best of all, no gunk build up like you get with every other strainer on the market. Love this one! It's one of my favorite, most useful kitchen gadgets that gets used every day that makes my life easier and that makes it priceless in my eyes.

I bought these a few years ago. They have held up wonderfully! I liked them so much I took them with me when I move to another house. I also bought them for my adult children. The sink strainer that comes with a sink drain lets too much debris go down the drain. This drain strainer catches everything! It's very easy to clean. I just tap it on the side of my garbage pail and then wipe it clean with a paper towel. If it gets stained just use your pot scrubber to make it shiny and new again. It will last for years. I suggest you buy them.

Since I've broken garbage disposals by having starchy things slip inside, I thought having a strainer would help. It really does. I can rinse, wash, and peel without worrying about damaging the disposal. It's a small detail, but it makes my life easier, so it's a win. It fits my sink perfectly. I'm unclear about why I'd need three of them. One for me, and two to share? Or are these expected to break or rust? I'm unsure, but okay...if that's how they're packaged, it's not that big of a deal. I would have preferred to only have to pay for, and store, one. But it's still a five-star product.

Seems to be a nice product, especially for the price. I've been using these for a couple of weeks with no signs of rust and no weakening of the metal. I love that they're stainless steel and not mesh. The basket seems to catch everything it needs to, without letting stuff down the drain to clog my sink. (Just be mindful that it won't catch super-fine particles.) These are very easy to wipe out to clean. The seller asked for feedback to make the product better so I have a couple of suggestions. First, the guards are a little difficult to lift out of the drain and the lip of the guard is a little ... "sharp" (not exactly the right word but because it's a thin metal edge it's the best I can do). Suggest making this lip slightly thicker and sort of rounding that edge to deal with those issues. Second, the basket is a little shallow. Recommend deepening it at least a quarter inch so that it can catch a sink's worth of dirty dish waste without having to stop the chore. I'd pay more for the product with the above changes. As it is, at the price point, it's fine, but with changes it could be great.

This is the 2ed time buying. The last ones lasted over 5 years! They are the best.

I have had this product for a few weeks now and it works great! The product is very sturdy, easy to clean and fits flush into my drain. Unlike the standard sink drain this one actually catches all the food debris and still drains the water. My son dumped his chicken with stars soup directly into the sink. To my surprise all the stars were caught and didn't cause the drain catch to clogg and fill the sink. The holes in the metal are big enough to not clog when the food is filling it. Highly recommend this product! Especially to parents whose kids do not understand cleaning their plate into the trash first.

I grant you that things are a little slow right now. But I assure you, though I was laughing at myself when I tried to think about what I would write about these, they are actually exciting! I am thrilled! I have been using the light weight screen strainers that are available at every hardware and grocery store. Those bend out of shape and stuff slides under them. They are better than nothing, but that is about it. I shopped a lot for a replacement and almost went with the soft rubber ones until I decided that they probably would become slimy pretty quickly and after turning them inside out I would still have to work to get them clean. These are amazing!!! They are so solid that nothing slips under! It is a delight to see bits of food dive right into the basket with nary an attempt to slide under the rim. They are solid enough to bang on the side of the trash bin to free whatever is in there. They are easy to clean. They are shiny, so they even look good. Hard to believe I would put a sink strainer in the “life changing” category, but these go there. Wonderful!

Quality product. Works well. We always had a problem of our kitchen sinks getting blocked due to small stuff get through the strainer. This one is perfect. No more blockages.

It's very usefull

Previously I was using a sculpted wire mesh strainer. It was TERRIBLE. It kept getting clogged and was really hard to clean. The Helect strainers work GREAT! I'm Chinese, so our family eats a lot of rice. This strainer keeps the rice from getting into the drain, is deep enough to hold quite a bit before it gets clogged, but shallow enough so that it can continue to drain out the sides. Since I've gotten this, I've only been able to clog the strainer once, and that was from a very thick beef stew. If you clear it once every 1-2 days, you should be good. The Helect is exactly the same as similar strainers but you get 3 for the same price. Only time will tell if the quality of the stainless steel lasts, but for a well priced product, it's super so far!
