Quality product
We bought this dehumidifier a year ago and really slept on writing a review because we wanted to see if it truly worked. Our bathroom does not have a fan feature and therefore a lot of the moisture produced by showers stays trapped in the bathroom. We had begun having issues with mold and mildew becoming more and more prevelant in the bathroom so we bought this dehumidifier. It works perfectly on small spaces and helps clear up excess moisture. It is small and compact and portable so we are able to love it around with ease in efforts of cleaning the bathroom etc. We have also used this in a bedroom where moisture levels are a little higher than other areas of the house and have seen the same effects. One thing I will note is this dehumidifier performs best when you give it a break every now and then and clean the intake area. We have 3 cats and 1 dog so there's a lot of hair that accumulates at the intake. We clean it about once or twice a week to ensure the life of this product. Definitely worth the money.

Confusing instructions
Bought this slightly larger dehumidifier for a problem room. The heat and humidity are off the charts in Florida! Description and manual both refer to programmed for 45% optimal humidity. We cannot figure out how to program this unit to reduce the humidity below 55%. Very confusing, but the unit is working and pulling out water. Very quiet in running mode. We don’t even use sleep mode.

Works great for my RV
It collects lots of moisture and I like the shut off when the reservoir is full.

Defective, brought RH down by only 5% in 24hrs in closet sized space.
Was excited to use this in my very modest (2x4) grow tent which has been sitting at 65%RH. I put it in close to my plant and turned it on continuous cycle and planned to check on it in a few hours to see how much the RH has dropped, well i checked and it only dropped 5-7%. Not only that but I have 3 RH meters in the tent and they all read 58-60% while the unit itself read 51%, I even went and put two of the readers directly ontop of the dehumidifier and they still read 58+%. I left it for 24hrs and came back to see if there was any difference since overnight should be intaking more moisture from the environment than when the lights are on and...nope still 58-60%.I bought this to take the RH down in this again very small tent ( this dehumidifier is supposedly used up to 850sq ft) down to the 45-50% range as it states it would/could do. I checked how much water it collected in the 24+hrs and it was barely covering the bottom of the container, maybe a few tbsp worth of water.I'll also note that the light DOESNT WORK at all. No colors, nothing. Not that I want it on in a grow tent but it is worth noting that it came faulty on that level too.I'm incredibly dissapointed by this product as its 25$+ more than the cheaper products my friends have used and it doesn't even work half as well. I got this as a future proofing method, i thought getting the more expensive item with more functionality was the smart choice and I'm proven wrong.I'm still in disbelief that it only brought down the humidity in as tiny of a room as you could get by 5%, that's laughable. I've checked the instructions several times (which are somehow less informative than the product page) and i've tried both the never ending cycle and the self turn off after it gets to a certain humidity setting and they both work the same way.I'll be trying to return this once i dig the box out of the recycling. What a waste of money. Would NOT recommend.Returned and replaced the item giving them the benefit of the doubt that it was just faulty and...the new one is just as bad if not worse. The readings are even further off, all the other RH and temp readers in the tent read 74F and 63%RH and this item reads 77F and 51%RH which is a really big difference especially on the RH. I need this thing to drop RH to 45% but even if it could as it is reading 51% for 63% the 45%(which is when it turns itself off) would actually be 57% which is too high. This thing really doesnt do jack adn this is in a small enclosure I can't imagine it going anything in a normal sized room. What a rip off. Also I have made sure to have plenty of space on the 3 sides that are pulling and pushing air.

IT WORKS!
This really works! It's pulling 2 inches or so of water from the air each day in my studio that's very humid, thanks Texas, and I have a portable ac unit running at the same time. I'm likely going to get another one to help combat all this rain/ humidity soon. I have a temperature/ humidity sensor and the numbers are pretty close to what's displayed usually 2 degrees or % off so I'm glad to know it really works.

Fills up with water
Filled up with water, so I know it's working. There's no need for a huge one. This does the job.

Didn't preform as thought it should
Our basement bedroom is an average size, but this didn't remove the humidity.
