If you typically use serum, moisturizer, and primer before applying makeup, try this primer out. It delivers all of the same benefits in one simple step. It helps me cut down on my morning routine with fewer steps and less wait time. The actual primer is silicone based and very smoothing. It's a moist formula as opposed to a dry pore-filling primer. It creates a smooth base to apply makeup and is best for normal to dry skin. It is lightly scented and quite pleasant but not for someone looking to avoid any added fragrance. I have noticed that it keeps my skin bright and helps diminish spots just as well as my favorite Vitamin C serum. Keeps my skin moist all day without needing to add any additional moisturizers. Also works well on top of moisturizer to really lock in the hydration without foundation for a no-makeup day glow. Additionally, the packaging is really pretty and looks great on my counter. It's an airless pump so the product stays fresh! Really loving this primer!

I had been looking for a new primer since my favorite by Bare Minerals was discontinued. Generally I like to stick to brands that I’ve heard of, but after much searching I decided that I would try the Monica Ann Primer, and I’m very glad I did. As a woman prone to acne in her mid-twenties it seemed like it would be impossible to find a product that wouldn’t make me break out, much less prevent them. But this stuff does. Seriously. It’s velvety in texture and has a very pleasant smell. You only need one tiny pump to cover your entire face, and it’s great that the pump action is specifically made to give you exactly how much you need instead of playing a guessing game. But the best part is it doesn’t make your skin dry or flaky, and your makeup stays in place all day. I come home from work still looking how I looked when I left that morning, and that’s saying something because NYC summers are notoriously hot and humid!

this has an absolutely AMAZING feeling and had a wonderful scent. it literally made my skin feel like velveet. my makeup up stayed on all day.. I put it on at 5am and by 9pm my make up still looked fresh. HOWEVER after 3 days of wearing.. my face looked like a pepperoni pizza. I think it is just my sensitivitie skin.. I never breakout usually but recently I wanted to try a makeup primer to help my makeup last longer. I have tried 5 different primers for acne/sensitive skin ranging from $20 to $75..and all primers made my skin break out. THIS primer was by far my favorite for the feel, the scent and how long it kept my makeup looking fresh. I WISH I could wear it without having breakouts. It DEFINITELY works..... just causes ME to break out. 😔

I love the feel of this primer and it does make my makeup apply smoother and seem to need to use less. This bottle was not in its wrapped in box so I hope it is a full bottle. Cannot see the amount in the bottle. Will take it with me to coametoc counter and compare the product there. Will update stars in a month.

I’ve tried many different primers both high-end and drug-store quality, and this is by far the best one I’ve tried. It has a silicone texture, but is very rich and creamy; not drying at all. It goes on smoothly and makes my skin very soft. I love that it has vitamin C and hyaluronic acid, so it’s not just a makeup primer but also good for my skin. My skin tone has never looked better and my makeup looks fresher longer. I also love the clean floral scent. Will definitely keep ordering this.

I’ve been using this product since it came out in 2017 and I absolutely love it! It instantly covers the shine on my face but it feels light and honesty I can barely smell the scent. The primer serves as a moisturizer, foundation primer and anti-aging cream. It makes my makeup stay on all day. On the weekend before going to the gym I don’t want to put on any makeup I just simply apply some primer my face looks immediately refreshed and moisturized especially during the winter time for dry skin! Other primers I’ve tried were all too heavy some are a bit greasy but Monica Ann’s primer provides just enough coverage.

This is the best makeup primer I've used. It works exactly as advertised and leaves skin soft and glowy.

It is not what I expwcted. Very disapointed.

I purchased this product, as always, based on other customers reviews. My daughter uses a primer under her make up and her complexion looks so nice. She has skin problems and her primer makes her skin look healthy. She uses a product called Pur Minerals. I have the used the Monica Ann product a few times now and it seems quite nice. It definitely makes my skin feel smooth. I find that my make up doesn't initially go on smoothly though but my make up does look nicer. I thought I would add a comment to my original review. I just ran out of my Monica Ann primer and came back to Amazon to buy another. My first purchase of this product was $46.00. Why in heavens name is it now $165.54. I definitely won't be buying this product again.
