It took me several hours to figure out how I was going to install this LED light strip to the under side of my patio stones, but once I got the right adhesive it worked perfectly. The LED light strip itself is heavy and starts to sag wherever it’s not glued and the I couldn’t use the brackets that came with it (it’s just didn’t work). Eventually I figured it out and we absolutely love how it adds great ambiance to my backyard setup.

You can read about other stuff like the remote in other reviews but I'm going to tell you the most important things to keep in mind, everything else is nit picking. 1: these are the best smooth color "tube" look you're going find for a reasonable price. (meaning not hundreds) 2: getting these to stay wherever you want them is a nightmare. You will and should spend a lot of time rigging securely in your own way, so you don't have to do it over and over. Their brackets and adhesive suck. 3: I've bought these twice now, the last set was exactly 6 months ago...look at how 90 degree bends mess up the light over time. This is not a function people....you do not get to change the color by sections, it's malfunctioning...they do not have longevity, so paying more for the right product first may be something you need to think about.

Its great effect for the price, very bright! The reasons for 3 stars though are: 1. You can see the 16" breaks in between the leds under the casement. So it doesnt have the solid flowing light through the whole (im gonna call it. a rope i guess). 2. Mine was defective near the end of the rope, one of those 16" leds breaks is defective and doesnt display all green spectrum from the rgb 3. There is a very potent, latex odor that emits from these. It took a few weeks for it to go away (or we just got used to it). it spread throughout the house, maybe due to heat of the lights. This is still a cost effective product for the rgb fan, given there isnt alot of other option.
