Andor : Season 1 [4K UHD]

One of the best things put on a screen ever. And, the 3-disc sets are good quality, unlike the 6-disc sets that are a disaster.

Package shipped to Italy 8 days before expected date of delivery. Perfect conditions. One of the best series I've seen in a very long time.

Great disc set of one of the best Star Wars streaming shows so far. Didn't care for Season 2 and I could care less about steelbooks. The price of this set is too expensive and I waited for a 'deal' to buy my copy. Worth it if you're a fan but I won't be buying any more disc sets at this price when other companies sell their shows for much less.

When this project was first announced I wasn’t sure I was going to watch it. Did I really need a prequel story for a character from Rogue One? Because I really liked Rogue One, my wife and I decided to watch it. This is the BEST Star Wars story that has been done since maybe Empire?! Exceptional show and cast; it can be a slow burn at times, but it’s all worth it. Ever wonder how the Rebellion formed? Ever wonder how non-Jedi fought back against the Empire? WATCH this show and learn! I can’t recommend it enough! I’m so glad they decided to release a 4k blu-ray so I can have this in my permanent collection. Bring on Season 2!

I'm a big fan of Rogue One, so this was a must see for me! The visuals are very cinematic, good story lines, great acting and a superb cast of characters. Andor introduces some new faces and it is brilliant to have a female officer in the empire, in the guise of Dedra Meera. Can't wait for season two to be released on blu ray!!

Such a fantastic season. This is the best of the Star Wars universe TV series (The Mandalorian is a close second). Now if only the other series in that universe could be as good. Highly recommended!

I'll get the cons out of the way first: These Star Wars Disney + shows are thoughtlessly programmed on disc. They feature recaps at the beginning of every episode without the ability to skip ahead with a chapter break so you have to forward past them. I think when it comes to binging on physical media, the "previously on..." feels most unnecessary. {Also this may only be a problem with my player, but both Mandalorian and Andor don't bring up the correct moment -or episode when given the option to continue playing where I left off} These annoyances are ultimately minor since this incredibly arresting show is hard to take a break from. ...which brings me to the pros: The quality is great and... This show is amazing! Rogue One and Mandalorian might have given fans what they wanted but Andor is the first thing since The Empire Strikes Back where Star Wars has shown growth. It amazes me that after the traditional excitement surrounding the trilogy-capping Return of the Jedi, Three Prequels, Three Sequels and a barrage of streaming series came this show and the fanfare was criminally faint. Someone really sat down and rethought Star Wars and how applicable it is to the world we live in. In my opinion: The results are astounding. Highly recommended.

This series introduces a more mature take on the star wars universe. Seeing the development of a tyrannical empire and those fighting for the cause against it. Characters are well developed and complex with amazing production quality.

Disc 2 straight up crashed. Thanks for wasting my 80€.

Impresionante calidad de imagen HD, y audio... los colores excelentes. Viene doblada al español latino, al igual que los subtítulos. Trae unas bonitas tarjetas de la serie. Espero que pronto salga la temporada 2

Endlich wagt Disney die Anfänge der Rebellion der Star Wars Galaxy zu Verfilmen. Da George Lucas unzählige Kurzgeschichten von Fanautoren abgesegnet, aber nie alle umgesetzt werden konnten, sind die ANDOR-Abenteuer gespielt von Diego Luna als Cassian Andor (Roque One), eine perfekte Wahl. Da Serien sich optimal eignen, um auf die Komplexität der einzelnen Charaktere aufmerksam zu machen, sind die Opfer des Krieges, die sich durch eine Vielzahl von Machenschaften hindurch manövriert, ein guter Anfang. Eine wertvolle Ergänzung der umfangreichen Filme, für eine weitumfassenderen Entstehungsgeschichte. Besonders Wertvoll ist das wiedersehen von erfahrenen Schauspielern wie Forest Whitaker als Saw Gerrera (Roque One), Andy Serkis als Kino Loy, Stellan Skarsgård als Luthen Rael, die ihre Kunst der Maskerade nie verlernen und die Serien so unterhaltsam machen. Die experimentelle Komposition (Score) von Nicholas Britell ist sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig, wird aber durch die Masse an Soundeffekten wieder aufgefangen. Das Einzige was mich Quält ist die geringe Folgenanzahl sowie die geringe Lauflänge. Dazu kommt die Tatsache, dass man nach einer langen Wartezeit, keine Alternative zu der 4K + Bluray Limited Edition erhoffen kann. Obwohl die Produktion sowie die Nachfrage der Star Wars Serien immer grösser wird! Trotz alle dem, ist es eine gelungene Serie, die meine Erwartungen übertroffen hat!
