Purchased it back in March 2019 Winter Time knowing I wanted to use it possibly during the late spring on a Collector Car that I own that I need to add a can of Freon to every year because of leakage. Tried this tool out for the first time on a June 8th 2019 two days ago. Not impressed at all. Wish I would of held off because it doesn’t take much to set this tool off. For instance the Low and High fittings where you would hook your A/C Guages to. The tool beeps when you point it close to the fittings. Right away I thought I found leaks but it was a false reading. I am not new to working on Automobile Air Conditioning. Have done it well over 40 years. Well next I took a old method of putting dish soap in a spray bottle actually the same method I use to check for leaks in tires. Sprayed the soapy bubbles over the fittings and it showed no leaks. Right away I knew this leak detector tool was unreliable. I should of waited to order it. If I did I would of been sending it back to Amazon. Best bet for anyone to check A/C leaks is soap bubbles or by adding A/C Dye to the system and checking with a ultraviolet light. Don’t waste your money on this tool like I did.

Easy to use right out of box. Found the leak I had been looking for, for days. Savings on freon loss more than pays for this tool.
