Compact and Reliable WiFi Solution - Perfect for Travel and Everyday Use
I recently purchased the TP-Link Nano USB WiFi Adapter for my desktop and have been thoroughly impressed with its performance. This compact, travel-sized adapter is powerful for its size, easily delivering reliable WiFi connections both at home and on the go. Installation was straightforward with plug-and-play on my Windows system, and within minutes, I was connected. One standout feature is the dual-band capability, offering 2.4G and 5G support, which makes it versatile depending on the type of network you’re on. I noticed a significant improvement in speed when connected to 5G networks—perfect for streaming and browsing without interruption. The adapter’s AC1300 capability is also a bonus, allowing faster data rates, which makes it quite future-proof for any upgraded internet plans. For its small size, it’s remarkably unobtrusive, which I appreciate. I barely notice it plugged into the USB port, and because it's so small, it’s great for travel or for plugging into a laptop without worrying about it getting in the way.Overall, this adapter is a great value for anyone needing reliable WiFi connectivity on a PC or laptop, especially in situations where wired connections are impractical. It’s a small investment that brings a big performance boost. Highly recommended!

Handy adapter
This is a fantastic wireless adapter, especially for the price. Super tiny. Works well as a receiver or to create hotspots. Plug and play, for me at least, on both Windows and Linux. Highly recommended.

Does work with older Apple MacBook Pro models
This TP-Link Nano USB WiFi Adapter definitely works with older MacBook Pro Laptops. My onboard WiFi failed on my mid 2010 MacBook Pro with MacOS High Sierra version 13.10.6, so I bought and installed this USB WiFi Adapter. Note that you will need to download the correct Apple driver for it. This is easily done, just google and go to the TP-Link website and the (free) driver download is available there. Once I installed the Driver the setup was basically automatic. It's fairly fast considering how small its antenna must be. I am getting download speeds up to 30 Mbps and upload speeds up to 15 Mbps when close to the router, and about 6Mbps downloads and 1.5 Mbps uploads when on the other side of the house. Note that I do not have an extremely fast Cable Internet package from my Service Provider. On my workstation computer attached to the router via Ethernet cable I am currently getting 93 and 24 Mbps downloads and uploads respectively.

Works like a charm!
This adapter saved me a lot of grief and headache. A little over a month ago, I bought a desktop Dell Optiplex 7010 Tower computer on Amazon. This computer was marked down in price bc it was previously used but advertised as "good as new." I was very busy w other things and didn't open the box until a few days ago. When I finally opened the box and connected the various cables that came w the computer, I discovered that I couldn't connect to WiFi. I couldn't contact Amazon Customer Service nor the seller bc it was well past the 30 day deadline. I discovered that the WiFi adapter was missing in the box. I went on Amazon and read the reviews where some folks used this adapter on their Dell w success. I bought this adapter and another adapter (AX1800, Nano Wi-Fi 6 Wireless USB Adapter) in case the AC1300 Adapter wouldn't work; and besides, the AX1800 sounded more advanced and powerful. To make a long story short, the AC1300 worked but not the AX1800. If you're in a similar predicament like I was, save your money and get the AC1300, not the AX1800. Also, when you get an Amazon package, you need to open it right away to make sure nothing in the package is missing and/or the item is functioning as it should,

Great little alternative to replacing wifi antennas in laptop
I bought this because my laptop Wi-Fi antennas have a break in them right at the joint where it opens and closes. I only figured it out by pure luck so instead of buying new antennas and ripping the laptop apart to replace them I decided to buy this nifty little Wi-Fi adapter. My speeds weren't great with the stock Wi-Fi to begin with, and I was lucky to get 15mbps out of the 100mbps we pay for. With this adapter it was plug and play and I get 4/4 signal with over 100mbps which is fantastic for being in an old house with shiplap walls, and it saved me a bunch of hassle not having to take apart the laptop and the adapter is just as small if not smaller than a wireless mouse USB plug in.

Tiny but capable. Listing is a little deceptive.
I got this for a recent build of an HP Elite 8300 SFF. I'm running Windows 7 on it so I can run Windows Media Center and record and play back OTA TV. The colorful pictures in the listing state that this can run at 400 Mbs on 2.4 Ghz. If you scroll down to the bottom there is a disclaimer that it can only run about 200 Mbs in that configuration. Speed tests I have run bear this lower number out. But, I only pay for 300 Mbs internet speed (Xfinity) and that's more than enough for my purposes. I'm amazed that TP can build such complex electronics into this tiny package.B.T.W. I tried the Web site but the drivers there would not work for me. Fortunately, the CD they supplied had the correct drivers. Getting modern drivers for Windows 7 can be a challenge because no one supports it anymore, but mine works fine with this adapter. My HP is able to stream and record / playback live TV via WiFi when I'm using a Silicon Dusk HD Homerun tuner and running Windows Media Center.
